5 Days in Florence

The property is a historic site, built in the late 1400’s. Keep this in mind if you stay here. Our October stay was a bit cold, damp, and musty (referring to inside the property). Heat does not get turned on until November. There are washing machines, but shared in a separate community building. The property needs a little care & feeding. Bathroom shower curtains, and doors in need of replacement. Same for shower heads. The check in process was a little haphazard. Multiple people trying to help, but no single point of contact that seemed to be on top of things. Power was intermittent for a day, evidently common during storms. Convenient to train station, 15 min walk, and 15 min ride into Florence. We stayed for 5 days which was probably 3 days too long. A little effort would go a long way to increasing this property’s potential.
