About this property
Sea, culture comfort and relaxation in the capital of Cilento
At 270 meters from the train station and the bus station, just nine kilometers from the archaeological area of Paestum (easily reachable also by bicycle via a ten km long cycle path, which runs along the typical Mediterranean coast Agropoli-Paestum. From the track , whose headquarters are often close to the sea, it is possible to easily access the beaches) is IL DOLCEVITA CASA VACANZE, a comfortable and bright apartment in AGROPOLI, Cilento Vallo di DIANO and Alburni National Park in the province of Salerno.
Located in a strategic position, at a short distance (800mt)
-from the city center (pedestrian area, marina, supermarkets, wine bars, pizzerias, pubs, pharmacies, hospitals).
-from the San Marco promenade (directly overlooking the beach of the splendid town of Agropoli, awarded several times with the prestigious Blue Flag award. It is a very touristic part of the city. There are numerous activities more directly linked to tourism such as bars, restaurants and points of refreshment in general. These are the reasons why it appears to be one of the liveliest and busiest parts of the seaside town. A walk along the seafront also offers a suggestive view of the San Marco tower, a building dating back to the early twentieth century located at the end of the Old Town).
-from the La Fornace Museum (a former brick factory built in 1890, now converted into a cultural center where events, exhibitions, concerts and tastings are held; curiosity: the courthouse in Rome was built with the bricks that came out of the factory, other important buildings in Florence, Venice and the palazzo del dolcevita).
-from the Angevin Aragonese Castle (with a triangular plan and three circular towers, it stands on the promontory fitting like a vertex within the area of the ancient village, while the base extends out of the inhabited nucleus, as an advanced fortification on the hillside from the gentler slope and more exposed to assaults.The castle has the appearance it assumed after the restructuring of the Aragonese age (15th century AD) which must have considerably expanded the original triangular-shaped layout.
Designed, renovated and furnished to offer you the greatest possible comfort and relaxation (memory mattresses and new bed bases), wardrobe, desk, air conditioning in all rooms, TV, reliable internet connection and free WI-FI in all rooms, spacious bathroom with shower, washing machine, iron and hairdryer;
Large kitchen with 6 comfortable seats, complete with all necessary crockery, dishwasher, electric and microwave oven, tasting glasses for wine.
