Sunny Mill Valley House With Mt. Tam Views
California indoor-outdoor living at it's best: Our place features a large private sunny deck with views of Mount Tamalpais, ideal for outdoor dining and lounging. Our home is within a short walk to downtown shops and restaurants, hiking and biking trails and just a short 20 minute drive to the beach.
Our house is perfect for couples, families with kids (8 years and older only please) and solo outdoor enthusiasts!
Our home is a sunny and cheerful 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. It is full of charm and boasts a fantastic view of Mount Tamalpais. It features an almost completely renovated open plan living and dinging room, complete with a wood burning fireplace, a newly remodeled state-of-the-art kitchen with high-end appliances including Thermador induction cooktop, refrigerator and feezer, Bosch double ovens and two Fisher-Pykel dishwasher drawers.
There are also two bedrooms plus one bathroom on the main level. The modern and bright bathroom has been recently remodeled. It has a large walk-in shower with a rain shower head and a handheld shower.
The charming master bedroom loft is in the converted attic space with a wall of windows and its own private balcony facing Mount Tamalpais. It also has a private basic/compact bathroom with a stand-up shower.
Our favorite part of our home is the fantastic California indoor-outdoor living: the large sunny deck is perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing and is located right outside the living room and just steps away from the kitchen.
The yard is perfect for kids, complete with a 14' trampoline, fort and a swing set. We also have a ping pong table for some fun tournaments!
The home sits on a quiet street, within a 10 minute easy walk to downtown with its many top-rated restaurants and boutique shops.
Dozens of hiking and mountain biking trails are also waiting for you right up the street.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
We kindly ask that you put all sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases and towels in front of the washer and dryer. No need to start the wash, we will handle the loading and washing.
Please clean all pots and pans by hand and put all dishes, glasses and silverware in the dishwasher and start it prior to leaving.
Turn off all light and the heater. Lock all doors and return the key to the lockbox. Remember to leave the garage door opener.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We are an active family that loves the outdoors! Our two boys are heavily involved with baseball, basketball, swim team, HipHop as well as Cub and Boy Scouts. We love to run and mountain bike on the many trails on Mount Tam, hit the local beaches to surf, boogie board or standup-paddle-baord. But we like to just relax and catch up with friends and neighbors with a glass of wine and dinner on our deck.
We love traveling, locally in Marin, within California, within the U.S. and overseas to visit family and friends in Germany and explore the countryside and cities such as Berlin and Munich etc.

Why they chose this property
Nature abound within just a few steps from this property! There is tons of hiking, mountain biking, road biking just up the street from our home. And local beaches are just 20 minutes away.
In addition to enjoying local happenings in Mill Valley, we also love to head out to the Wine Country, just 20 minutes up the road. Or head up to Tahoe for a long weekend or down the coast to San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. So much to do, so little time...
