The large, three-storey terraced property's living areas consist of a kitchen with range cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, a dining room with seating 16 people, sitting room with a TV, a selection of books and games. The bedrooms consist of three super-king-sizes, two with en-suite bathrooms, a super-king-size (zip/link), three king-sizes, one with an en-suite bathroom, and a twin, along with two bathrooms. Outside, there is a garden with Astro-turf, furniture, and a hot tub, along with off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.2 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.1, a pub, and within 0.3, a beach. Please note that two well-behaved pets are allowed, but smoking is not. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the cost. Two travel cots and highchairs are available. Within the town you will find North Bay and South Bay, both excellent beaches and a historic castle which overlooks the town. Attractions within the town include the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough Spa and Scarborough Open Air Theatre for live music. The Cleveland Way is also within reach of the town and takes you through the coastal scenery.

Very spacious downstairs .all clean .hot Tub is covered over incase of rain. Family friendly. Space for off road parking.Host very obliging. Very near peasholm Park and seafront plenty of cafe /bars.

The position of Tennyson House is perfect as it is so close to Peasholm Park and the beach with plenty of great cafe/bars minutes walk away.The house itself was a great size for our group, plenty of very comfortable beds and bathroom/showers. We did feel that the kitchen could be better equipped as we were cooking each night. We did find that several pieces of equipment weren’t as clean as we would have liked/expected. That said that did not spoil our stay.

70th Birthday Event

To celebrate my 70th Birthday we stayed for two nights. There was a mixed age range from 5 yrs old. The property is ample for a large group without being in each others way. There were 15 in our party and two dogs (property secure to let them out of the back door. Sufficient bathrooms and showers. Property well placed for Peasholm Park, the beach and The Hide Out (bistro) about 80 yards from property. Parking was not an issue as provided with parking permits for when needed. All in all a great place to stay.

Very impressed where the property was situated; parking excellent ; rooms good with very good bathrooms : one bathroom had mold in shower ; and we thought it lacked loving care . Which was a shame as it could have been excellent .
