Le Figuier is a lovely, basic holiday home in the Dordogne, quietly situated and yet close to all the sights. The holiday home is suitable for 6 to 8 people and has a large enclosed private swimming pool. Le Figuier is a simple but cosy holiday home, especially the garden from which you can make beautiful walks, is worth it. Living/dining room with kitchen corner, beams and French doors to the terrace, kitchen corner equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, small bar to drink your aperitifs. There is wifi internet.
Inside On the ground floor is the first bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with bath and shower. The first floor has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with a double bed and an extra bunk bed (this bedroom is great for children). The double bed is in a separate area but there is no door between. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet and a shower.
Outside The garden of the holiday home le Figuier is wonderful to relax. The private swimming pool is 10 by 5 meters and has a depth of 0.7m to 1.7 m. Sufficient parking, lots of fig trees, September will be making fig jam!
Surroundings Le Figuier is located 2km from the center of Saint Amand de Coly. The landscape is hilly and is located on the edge of the Massif Central with heights between 100 and 300 m. Restaurant - bar 2km; Supermarkets for daily shopping at 5 and 8 km. The medieval town of Terrasson (8 km) is situated in a fairytale setting on the river Vézère. In Terrasson you will find all the shops you need. At 5 km lies Montignac, known for the Caves of Lascaux; the first caves where drawings of prehistoric man were found. Montignac is a pleasant town with many restaurants along the river and 2 supermarkets.

Belle propriété avec un bel environnement, ça correspondait à ce que l'on recherchait.
Malheureusement, l'hygiène et la vétusté autant du logement que des ustensiles de cuisine nous a énormément déçu.
Notre séjour à commencé par le détartrage des appareils (bouilloire, cafetière) et des toilettes qui sentaient très fort l'urine.
Nous avons eu un mal fou à manipuler les Velux obsolètes et il a fallu changer la bouteille de gaz afin de pouvoir cuisiner le soir de notre arrivée.
Toutefois, le lit était confortable et le logement bien spacieux.
