Terracotta tiled and cobble stoned terraces surround the pool and house and lead into the living room, kitchen, master bedroom and one of the ground floor twin bedrooms.
Beyond the main terrace are various other levels nestled into the hill side, offering sun, shade and mature Mediterranean gardens with citrus, grape vines, and bougainvillea galore…

Newly refurbished, the interior of Eagles Nest is elegant, practical and contemporary…more than perfectly suitable for families on holiday or anyone wishing for a retreat away.
The entrance into the ample kitchen is from the terrace, there is seating for 6 people in the kitchen and further seating for 8 people at the dining table in the living room.
The two twin bedrooms are reached from the living room with a bathroom in between. The master en-suite bedroom and study are reached from the stairs in the kitchen and have access to a covered terrace, which also leads into the garden.

Eagles Nest offers an 8 x 4 m pool with Roman steps leading into a shallow end of 1m and a deep end of 2m. Freshwater pool with Salt cleaning system. The pool is serviced weekly during the year by a competent and reliable professional. Pool and garden lighting is available.

Quality sun loungers deck the terrace around the pool and there is a shaded dining area besides the barbeque near the poolside.

This accommodation is perfect for families on holiday with any age children, though there are quite a few steps in the garden!
There is a cot and high chair provided. Please let us know if you have any other requirements.

Eagles Nest offers a Play Station 4, Netflix and Cable TV (meo) and Apple TV, not many rental accommodations offer such varied entertainment features for children!

The immediate garden area and ground floor of the house would be suitable for elderly.

In this hilltop hamlet, Eagles Nest is the first house with 4 other villas behind and below, within 50 – 100 metres, the property is not overlooked.

The access to Eagles Nest is by 3km of uphill and downhill tracks within an area of hillside terraced orange groves. The rest of the way is tarmac roads.
This is a very quiet and peaceful location amidst nature and wildlife.
Amenities can be reached in 10km (Tavira) or about 15 minutes drive.
Many beautiful beaches can be reached within 15 – 20 minutes drive, closer by is the Pego do Inferno (Hells Pool) waterfall, just 3 – 4 km away on the tracks or in winter and spring there is a river in the valley to visit!
There are excellent golf courses within 20 to 30 minutes drive from the accommodation. The closest are Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei.

Eagles Nest is a non-smoking property.
Due to the possibility of guests being allergic to animal hair, we would rather not allow pets.

Our changeover days ate flexible, athough we aim to keep bookings as close as possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless otherwise arranged. We provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms.
There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late arrivals.
Car hire is essential for this property. Car rental, taxi transfers and bicycle hire can be organized with local reputable firms in advance or by calling the local representative.

Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.
