Bethany - cottage is a place to disconnect from the daily routine. It is a meeting point with those loved ones whom you have not seen for a long time. It is the return to the simple. That relaxing weekend you've been promising for a while. It is the rest you deserve.
Bethany was not always called that. He had several names. The family was referred to as La Casa de la Abuela Julia. But the new building incorporates elements of what was also before the Civil War the House of the Mayor of Villacalabuey. The family always had the desire to reuse the facilities. Bethany opened in May 2013 with the hope of welcoming as many guests as possible to visit us.
The house has 250 square meters of interiors, a museum of rural implements, two porches and a garden. It consists of two levels with eleven rooms, two large common rooms, a kitchen and eleven bathrooms, two of them with disabled access. For added comfort, it has a heating system in addition to a wood burning fireplace in the main hall.
Presiding over the entrance of Villacalabuey, Bethany - cottage, is situated in a special enclave. Outside, it is surrounded by a park for both young and old, and the eras of the town planted with poplars. At night, from its windows the Sahagún Pilgrim Hermitage is illuminated, framed by a starry sky that is drawn with sharpness.
