This is a nice, high standard house that was renovated in late 2019.
Location on the house is wonderful, has three big grocery stores within 5 mins by car and and down on the beach within 10 mins by car.
The house has beds for 6 people and 2 in the guest house. The guest house has its own bathroom and kitchen.
Sunny garden all day and situated in a quiet area, where you can enjoy magical sunsets.

Fuengirola is a cozy little town located on the Costa del Sol in Spain, between Marbella and Torremolinos, known for its long beaches and great entertainment.

For children there are plenty of fun activities in the area: Mijas Aqua (Water pack) 7 mins by car and Fuengirola Zoo 10 mins by car.

A nice time away

A really nice villa with great views. The place is very minimalistic but does have everything you need. There are no pictures at all in any rooms and the bed linen did not match and the mattress did not have sheets except for the mattress topper which was a little strange. Overall the place is comfortable and the outside area is really nice.

Thanks for your input about bed linen will chek this with the Cleaning company that fix all laundry. Have bought all bed linen from IKEA so it should match together. Take care!

Villa is lovely Just cockroaches put me off which may be concerning to people with small children walking crawling about. And no mention of building works right in front of villa which restricted the view. Owner was very helpful and responsive to my concerns But apart from that we enjoyed our stay at the villa

Overall the property is very good. A few small details that are lacking. Kitchen in need of a few more pots and pans. Stairs into the swimmingpool shold be updated, as it wobbles. The grill ( Weber ) was not working properly. Small details, we had a lovely stay.

Building Site

The host failed to mention that there is a villa under construction directly in front of the property and very loud building works begin at 7am every morning which woke us up and finish around 2. There is no privacy and no ‘wonderful view’ as advertised. There was building dust in the pool and surrounding areas, cockroaches every morning in the kitchen (which the host did arrange to be fumigated but we had to leave the villa for 6 hours) host was responsive to messages and described our situation as ‘unlucky’. If the listing had been accurate, we would NOT have taken a chance as it wasn’t a cheap villa to book. I’m writing this review as the host has still not updated his listing and this is to warn others. The villa itself is a lovely space but this is definitely a holiday we would like to forget.

Disappointing stay

The property is in need of a deep clean and some serious maintenance. On check in we spent three hours cleaning the kitchen utensils plates glasses and saucepans. We then had to go to the supermarket and get cleaning products. The sink in the main bedroom needed bleaching it was stinking the kitchen sink was stained. The cleaners if they are being paid are not worth the money. Cockroaches in the cupboard and behind the sofas With more appearing each day. We had a party of eight with children included and had booked the annex flat also. There is nothing in the flat no kettle cups plates The mirror is degraded so badly you can’t see anything in it. The railings are falling apart and would be a proper risk if you had youngsters in the annex. No mirrors or dressing tables in the rooms. The settee in the main living area is falling apart The pictures of the property do not give a true representation of its condition. The outside gardens are well kept but again not particularly child friendly as there are gaps in the hedges with a sheer drop of 15 feet plus. The sauna doesn’t work as far as we could tell so it should not be advertised, the table tennis equipment needs replacing it can’t be used. The pool is fine with sunbeds for seven The outside table area has seating for seven There is a gas bbq but no gas and no information on where to get more. Lastly and probably the worst thing for us was the smell of the sewer in the gardens this was very unpleasant.

Never again, We stayed for an hour.

From the moment we arrived at the villa, it was clear that our stay was not going to meet our expectations: Our introduction to the property was the "broken" front gate, inelegantly secured with a large padlock. The fridge and freezer were unexpectedly full, making it feel like someone had just been there or was still staying in the villa. The cleaning was inconsistent, with not all kitchen cabinets appearing to be cleaned. The bed linens were too small for the mattresses and duvets. Lighting in the bedrooms was inadequate. One had only a ceiling lamp, while the other two bedrooms relied on a single bed lamp and a ceiling fixture. The wardrobes' inability to close was another point of frustration. Personal items like toothpaste and whitening products were already present, which was puzzling. Placing a water bottle and toilet paper on the bedside table raised questions. An oddly placed baby bed was obstructing the entrance. Hanging electricity wires in the living area posed a clear safety concern. The state of the dining chairs, tarnished and unclean, reflected the overall lack of upkeep in the villa. The garden's BBQ was so encrusted with grime that using it would've required hours of cleaning. Disturbingly, we found glasses concealed under bushes near the pool. An unforeseen inconvenience was the revelation that a villa would soon be under construction directly in front of the property - a detail the owner omitted. Bra boende i lugn omgivning

Ett bra boende som stämde väl överens med beskrivningen. Bra med avskild ”sovdel” från sällskapsutrymme/kök. Vi bodde totalt åtta personer, två ovanpå garaget. Två minus, det fanns bara sittplats (stolar) för sex personer i stora huset och inga inomhusstolar ovanpå garaget. Gasolen till grillen var slut. Detta drar dock inte ner totalupplevelsen som var mycket bra.

Flott eiendom

Vi var syv voksne som besøkte villaen i midten av mars 2022. Kommunikasjonen med eieren i forkant var veldig enkelt. Det gikk raskt å få svar på de spørsmålene vi hadde og vi fikk all den informasjonen vi trengte i forkant av oppholdet. Huset ligger fint til i et rolig område, med god plass i felles områder både ute og inne. Utsikten fra hagen/bassengområdet bak huset er utrolig fin og huset ligger usjenert til i høyden. Et stort og romslig kjøkken, med alt man har behov for. Tre store soverom inne i selve huset, og ett soverom med bad og kjøkkenkrok over garasjen. Det er kort vei ned til sentrum med butikker og restauranter, det er mange gode golfbaner i nærheten og kun en liten halvtime fra flyplassen på Malaga. Vi har strengt tatt ikke funnet noe å pirke på i forhold til våre behov. Vårt opphold ble veldig vellykket og vi kan anbefale dette huset til alle som ønsker en rolig ferie, men med nærhet til det meste man måtte ønske.

Beautiful house and location

Located in the mountains away from noise, totally privacy and a beautiful view! The house was modern and clean while the garden/pool area had some old Spanish history to it. We loved our stay and we’ll be back next time we visit Malaga.

Magnifique villa

La maison de John est magnifique, avec de belles prestations. Très bel endroit, calme et reposant, près de tout.
