This property is awesome!
We could not have been happier with this property. It was exactly as advertised and more! About 20 second walk to the lake, which has a legit private dock only for Tavern Shores residence. The cabin itself was amazing. It has a huuuuge backyard (which is something you typically don’t get while on vacation). It slept 5 of us super easily and comfortably. We just couldn’t be happier. If you are looking for a place to go with your family, friends, or significant other...this is a must. It’s the perfect place whether you’re looking for a fun, romantic, or relaxing vacation. Literally walking distance to anything you need: shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, hardware stores, Truckee River, kayak rentals and so much more. I’ve already decided that next time I come to Tahoe I'm going to try and reserve this same exact place. I’m even getting bummed writing this review because it’s reminding me how much fun it was and I’m already starting to miss the place. Also, the owner is super nice and very responsive. I give it an A+ all the way around

Excellent location and condo!
We spent four days in Tahoe for my nephew’s wedding and we were so lucky to have found this condo. The condo is walking distance to Tahoe City, bikepaths, Truckee River, and the lake - the location can’t be beat. The condo iteself is perfect with all of the needed amenities, comfy beds, games, and a fantastic grassy backyard with bbq. Absolutely loved our stay.

We are a family of 5 that love being in the mountains. We live in Marin but Lake Tahoe is our home away from home. There is nothing more relaxing and fun than days by the lake! Our kids grew up on the ski team and Erik is a ski patroller at Squaw Valley. Missy enjoys skiing when the weather is nice and then loves hanging in the lodge or condo for a drink after! In the summer we all love to boat, hike, bike, float down the river, relax on the dock, walk into town and just enjoy the mountain air.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with our place the moment we saw it. The location was absolutely perfect. So great to be just steps from the lake, steps from the river, steps from great trails and just steps from our favorite bar (The Bridgetender)! We loved the layout of the place where it was situated amongst the trees. It isn't fancy but it certainly is comfortable! And the big flat outdoor yard was the closer. It is so perfect for summer BBQs and there is plenty of space for summer games (corn hole being our favorite!)

What makes this property unique

It is in the absolute perfect location. Once you arrive you will likely never have to get into your car again!
