VERY relaxing, airy, comfortable, incredibly clean, newly remodeled - 2 bedroom, 1 Full Bath, with shower/tub lake cottage. Roomy kitchen, sleeper couch and reading chairs, Tempur-Pedic king and newer spring queen size beds with great comforters, new percale sheets, new pillows, small flat screen Smart Roku TV with DVD player, Google home, JBL Charge Bluetooth outdoor portable speaker.

Outdoor sauna with private outdoor shower, air conditioning, screened front porch, large pier with bench seating area and dedicated second pier for the boats. Fire pit surrounded by benches, newer Weber gas grill, new patio set for outdoor dining, lakeside patio with Adirondack chairs. The cottage sits on 400' water frontage on a peninsula with complete water views, yet secluded. Lake is limited-wake. Loons will wake you up in the morning. No public access or boat ramps. Fishing can be good to great depending on the time of year with bass, bluegill, and walleye. The cottage is minutes away from premier trout fishing on Prairie River (recent Trout Unlimited project work) where the State Record Brook Trout was caught. Water is gin clear, great swimming! no weeds, great sand, and gravel bottom all round pier. ATV trails are accessible from the cottage. Aluminum 16-foot fishing boat with an electric motor is available, Power is at the dock with dedicated battery charger. 3-person paddle boat also available for guests. Renters should bring their own cell phones for calls....there is no landline phone provided, renters must bring cell phones if they require communication. For those who need it, DSL internet is available for an (OPTIONAL) weekly fee. RENTERS MUST BRING OWN FIREWOOD. THE WOOD ON SITE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS.

Recent Projects: New thermostat controlled electric was heat, New tall Kohler toilet, Water filtration system, all new plumbing system, new windows, new landscape lighting!

IMPORTANT: To assure renters get longer stays, reservations shorter than 5 nights in length will not be accepted until after May 15th for the calendar year of the booking.

This location is magical. And I'm certain I've never slept better. The fresh air, clean water, calming nature, and soothing sauna are perfect! We swam, paddled, biked, napped, and listened to loons the entire stay. I can't wait to return!

Another great stay

This is our 4th time at the cottage. Peaceful, enjoyable, clear water — beautiful place to rest and enjoy a vacation. Owner continues to make improvements to the property each year. Even our dog remembered the place when we arrived and immediately went straight for the lake. Hope to be back again soon.

Such a wonderful cottage! The cottage offers comfort, inside and out. From the many cozy seating areas to the comfy beds, you can easily relax and enjoy the wonderful lake views and quiet serenity. We enjoyed campfires and fishing on the lake daily. Our dog enjoyed lake life as well. The cottage and property are nicely maintained and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Always have nice things to say about the Jones Cottage and the owners. It’s always a great getaway with our pups Blade and Rip. We had some rain so we enjoyed putting a puzzle together and an afternoon nap. The cottage always has everything we need and the fishing if not the greatest it’s just fun being out on the lake. Beautiful property surrounded by lake

This is a very nicely remodeled cottage on a small lake. Being located on a point, it offers privacy and sensational water views. My wife and I spent a wonderful week here, mostly relaxing outside. We enjoyed campfires, the paddle pontoon, and the sauna. The Friday fish fry at Ma's restaurant was exceptional.

We enjoyed our week-long stay at the cottage. The solitude and scenery were great! The cottage is cozy and the property is very secluded. We only saw one other boat on the lake and heard very few people. Communication with the owner was timely and helpful. We hope to return again someday!

Peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We enjoyed just being there enjoying the natural setting. We used the sauna and the boats every day. The last day of our stay I saw 2 beautiful loons skimming across the lake. The Lake was so still that the reflection of the Fall leaves was spectacular!!

Weekend Getaway

This property is stunning with views of the crystal clear water from three sides of the cabin. The water is so ridiculously clear that in the day it reflects the tree lines and at night it reflects the stars as if it were a second sky. The cabin is kept well maintained with more amenities provided than most rentals. A must experience!

Beautiful and quiet. Nice updated cottage and very private. Afternoon dappled sun on the walls was astounding. You could hear the sound of silence, like snow in the Rockies. Everything you could need and then some. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.
