Property was perfect for us. The access to the canal path meant we could take long or short walks whenever we chose. Nice places to visit nearby. Would certainly stay again.

It was a pleasure to meet & host Vera & Roger. A friendly couple & great guests who looked after our Barn apartment during their stay and left it beautifully clean & tidy. Welcome back anytime and highly recommended to other hosts.
We had a great stay very close to the canal lock. The one bedroom unit was very spacious and very clean with all the services you would require. The area is very quiet with some great walking trails and only short walk to the village . Would stay there again

Hi Jackie, thank you for your lovely review of our Barn apartment. I am so pleased your stay was enjoyable and comfortable.
It was lovely to meet you and thank you so much for looking after the apartment during your stay and for leaving it beautifully clean & tidy! Always a pleasure to walk back in to.
We would be delighted to welcome you back anytime if you are staying in the area again and would highly recommend you to other hosts. The perfect guest!
What a fantastic place to stay! Rachel could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The barn itself is in the ideal situation - on the edge of a great village with a shop, pharmacy and three(!) pubs, but with easy car access to the A38, not to mention local walks and the canal. The barn has everything you might want for a great stay, and I strongly recommend it.

It was a pleasure to host yourself & Mike and we would be delighted to welcome you both again.
We were very impressed with the high standard of this barn. It had everything we needed, it was really clean and it was situated in a lovely location right by the canal. The owner Rachel was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.
Deluxe all the way, and a nice change from Baker Street.

About the host
Hosted by Rachel Smeeton
We've lived in this lovely village for over 20 years and really enjoy sharing everything it has to offer with our guests - pubs, coffee shop, beautiful canal walks, Herons, Swans, Kingfishers and even the odd Great White Egret!
Why they chose this property
All of our past guests love our Barn and say it's much bigger than it looks on the pictures!
We present it beautifully clean so you don't have to think about a thing - other than relaxing!
What makes this property unique
Our Barn is located on the edge of the village and next to the beautiful canal offering miles of canal path walks (or cycles if you fancy bringing your bike!- n.b. we don't have secure storage for bikes but they can be stored outside)
The local wildlife, beautiful views and tranquil pace of the narrow boats passing by us create the perfect space for taking "time out" of your busy schedule.
