Great property, lots of bathrooms and bedrooms. Bedrooms are dark, bring a reading light. Great gaming table and well stocked kitchen, except only one garbage bag, bring some. Very responsive host and excellent view. Absolutely worth the money.

Enjoyed our stay a Galena Chalet! Beautiful, comfortable and spacious home. Wonderful deck and screened in porch. Gorgeous view. Very tranquil and peaceful. Perfect place for our family to connect. Tons of elegant glassware and serving pieces. A few more practical kitchen items would have been nice but basics there. We just loved the huge sofas and cozy throws even in the warm weather. Very unique home that we really appreciated. Perfect weekend!

The place was magical - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the kitchen had some older pots and pans and not a ton of bowls to store food. Recommend bringing your own spices, oil, etc as well - most it looked like it had been there awhile.

This property was magical! It was like we walked into an enchanted forest and found this beautiful chalet. We had a girls get together and everyone was so surprised by how cute this property was. There wasn’t a thing bad about it. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were stocked and great water pressure. The furniture was cute and comfortable. Plenty of seating for our craft/game night. I can’t wait to visit again. Winter would be beautiful!!

Wonderful house for a group. Beautiful and clean. Beds were very comfortable and clean, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and host a group. Plenty of space for people to spread out. Gorgeous view of the lake. Set back off the road so you feel you’ve gotten away from it all for a bit. Communication with the host was easy, quick and very helpful! Wonderful place! Would go back anytime!

Beautiful, spacious, generally well-provisioned, and incredibly scenic. Actually 2 full baths and one half-bath (without shower). As in previous reviews, gas grill was unusably dirty. Screen porch is heavenly. Check out requirements are surprisingly onerous for a luxury rental. The master bedroom bed may be a challenge to climb into for all but the tallest.

Beautiful location in front of the lake. Charming and spacious property, few minutes away from Galena. We really enjoyed the stay and the setting.Opportunities to improve illumination at the entrance and in the terrace. Cleaning of outdoor grill should be performed before each stay: we found it not in great conditions.

Galena Thanksgiving

Amazing property with a stunning view of Lake Galena from the house! We had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend! The town of Galena is only 10 minutes away and is a very charming town. We will be staying there again soon.

Perfect place for winter gathering

We knew from the photos that this place was going to be special, but we really loved visiting it so much. There were so many beds, extra pack n plays and high chairs…things that you need, but don’t need to bring. We would love to come back and stay here again!

Friends at the Galena Chalet

My friends and I had an incredible time at the Galena Chalet! This property and all of the gorgeous surrounding views felt like a fairytale. The accommodations were perfect and comfortable. We all had so much fun, the only thing missing was a longer stay! Next time :)

Perfect Bachelorette Getaway

I enjoyed my Bachelorette weekend with my best girls in this beautiful house. It's just outside Galena with scenic views. We even saw an air-balloon float past. It was perfect for all of us to cook together and watch movies and celebrate my upcoming marriage

What a view!

From the bicycles, to the fishing poles, to the nice warm bedding and blankets, this get-away was everything my family of seven needed. I am very grateful and thankful to the very thoughtful owners.
