Great Location

The area is great. Lovely friendly place. Plenty of bars, restaurants. Beach great. The apartment complex is really good. Nice pools and gardens.The apartment we rented had a big balcony and was spacious for 2 people. Could do with up dating and definitely needed new crockery.

Lovely complex

The apartment was lovely, had everything we needed and great size for a family of 4. Location was excellent, really close to the beach, restaurants and bars. Only downside for us was the pools being out of use due to the recent drought which we know was out of the control of Duquesa estates, however we were not informed of this until the day we were travelling. As a family we would normally use the pools every day, it was great going to the beach but this meant the only sun beds available were linked to restaurants which had signs saying no picnics, which inevitably meant it cost more money than just paying for the sunbed hire. We also felt obliged to purchase drinks and food etc so we spent more money than intended.

VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THE OWNER

The apartment was pretty much what we expected however for our entire eight day stay we had no heating for the colder mornings, late afternoons and evenings.The Managing Agents tried their best to get the owner to repair it who refused even though the agents heating engineer confirmed a new compressor was needed when first advised in the summer.Selfishly happy to take our money, renter beware.

Shower tray was cracked when we arrived and reported through to Sam. Hopefully this will be addressed before the next visitors arrive. Apart from that we would definitely stay here again.
