About this property
Cedar Forest Oceanfront Villa, 4BR Private Pool
Stunning oceanfront 4BR villa in Alyko, Naxos with Private Heated Pool just steps to a white-sand beach! Panoramic Aegean views, sunset terrace, pool bar w/ sink, fridge & BBQ + outdoor shower. Three levels: 2 sea-view rooms, 2 pool-level rooms and 3 full bathrooms. Full kitchen, A/C, Wi-Fi, washer. Ideal location nestled in a cedar forest—nearby tavernas, kitesurfing at Mikri Vigla, and trendy Plaka beach; Naxos Town ~25 min. Perfect for families & groups. Direct beach access from the property.
The space
Located steps from Alyko’s protected cedar forest and soft-sand shoreline, this oceanfront 4-bedroom, 3-bath villa delivers barefoot-easy days and Aegean-blue sunsets by your private heated pool! A gated path from the backyard leads directly to the beach, so morning swims and sunset strolls are simply part of the routine. The private heated pool makes this villa ideal for the entire travel season in Greece!
Designed for families and groups, the villa spans three airy levels: two top-floor bedrooms open to sea-view balconies, while two ground-floor bedrooms step out to the pool terrace. All threes floors feature a full bathroom with shower. Gather in the open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen and indoor dining, or spread out across multiple outdoor lounge zones with shaded seating, an alfresco bar-height dining area, BBQ, and an outdoor shower—just a short stroll through the cedars to the white sandy beach and crystal clear Aegean Sea.
The heated pool makes this villa an inviting retreat in summer as well as in the milder months of spring and autumn, when the weather is warm and the island is peaceful.
The pool bar, complete with sink and mini-fridge, keeps the day seamless from first espresso to evening aperitif. After the beach, rinse under the stars, grill fresh fish, and linger as the sky fades through shades of pink. Reliable Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, quality linens, and thoughtful touches throughout make unwinding effortless.
This quiet part of southwest Naxos puts you close to everything yet blissfully away from crowds. Walk to postcard-calm coves and dunes; drive a short distance to Pyrgaki, Mikri Vigla, and Plaka for kitesurfing, tavernas, lounges and trendy beaches. You can reach Naxos Town’s shops, port, and castle in about 30 minutes. You also have the option of day-trips by boat to nearby Koufinisia or Paros. Popular islands like Santorini and Mykonos are all possible to reach in under an hour ferry ride. If you feel like exploring there are incredible historical sites such as the Ancient Temple of Demeter, marble Kouros of Melanes, and the infamous Temple of Apollo.
The interior of Naxos is also a well-known island in the Cyclades for its distinct, large, marble mountains. You can visit the gorgeous mountain towns of Filoti and Apeiranthos and dine with views of the entire Aegean. There are also a number of great hiking trails including a hike to Mount Zas, the highest point in the Cyclades, with breathtaking panoramas.
We’re happy to share local tips—favorite bakeries, beach clubs, wineries, and hidden sunset spots—so you can experience Naxos like a returning friend.
Come for the beach-at-your-doorstep convenience; stay for the sunsets, the sea breeze, and the easy rhythm of island life—where every day begins with sand between your toes and ends beneath a canopy of stars over the water.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the villa including the private heated pool, private multi-car parking, two patios, pool bar & BBQ area, outdoor shower and access to a private path to the beach.
Other things to note
Nestled within a protected cedar forest just steps from a serene beach, this stunning villa is one of the few on Naxos featuring a heated pool—making it an ideal retreat not only in the summer months but also a wonderful seaside escape during the milder months of March, April, May, October, and November.
There are many other beaches near the property such as Alyko Beach, Pyrgaki beach, and Glyfada beach. The gorgeous beach on the path directly behind the villa has beautiful white sand, crystal clear water, and is sparsely populated all summer.
There is a grocery store 10 minutes from the property (they also deliver), and a fantastic restaurant with traditional Greek cuisine less than a 1 minute walk from the property.
The southern part of the island is ideal for visiting some of Naxos' most famous landmarks and attractions, including the Ancient Temple of Demeter, the Plaka Beach area, the mountain towns of Apeiranthos and Filoti, and the trailhead to a hike to the highest point in the Cyclades, Mount Zeus.

About the host
Hosted by Austin Martin
I’ve always had a passion for travel and for seeking out authentic places and experiences—the kind where you really connect with the people, the culture, and the history of a destination. That’s exactly what drew me to Naxos. The locals here are incredibly kind and rooted in traditions that go back generations, and every time I visit I discover something new to love.
From the very first day we stayed at this villa, we knew it was special—the peaceful cedar forest, the sandy beach just steps away, and the sense of calm you can’t find in more crowded places. We wanted to share that same feeling with our guests, so they could experience Naxos not just as tourists, but as part of the island’s living story. Hosting is my way of helping others create those same unforgettable memories that made me fall in love with this place.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Alyko because it blends untouched natural beauty with the perfect location. The cedar forest and wide sandy beach create a serene, almost magical setting, while being close enough to enjoy Naxos’ lively port town and charming mountain villages. It offers the best of both worlds—peace and privacy with endless opportunities to explore and experience authentic Greek island life.
What makes this property unique
Our villa is set in a rare, protected cedar forest that feels like a hidden paradise. I love that it combines complete tranquility with easy access to Naxos’ charm—you can relax by the private pool, stroll just a few minutes to a wide sandy beach, and feel like you have the Aegean to yourself. It’s far enough from the bustle of town to be peaceful and restorative, yet close enough to explore the island’s highlights—from the vibrant Cycladic port town to traditional mountain villages like Apeiranthos and Filoti. It truly has everything you need for the perfect Greek island escape.
