About this property

Stunning Luxury with views of the sea

The Property: An Amazing modern property on the shore of Cleggan Bay with far reaching views towards Inish Bofin Island. It overlooks the beach and the village is a short walk away. This property is extremely luxurious and would make an ideal family holiday base. The children would be delighted to just pop along the road and go riding at Cleggan Riding Centre or go and play in the village playground. There are ferries to the Islands from the village too. You could park the car and not need it for your whole stay as there is everything you would need on your doorstep, and you are on the Wild Atlantic Wayif you would like to explore further afield. Arguably one of the best holiday properties in the area. Perfect in every way!

Inside: As you walk in the front door there is large “grand” hallway. To the right is a seating area and to the left is a very posh bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. All the open areas are well furnished with nice ornaments and pictures on the walls.Continue down hallway and there are glass doors to your right which lead into a very bright dining/sitting area with big glass windows with great sea views and off this is the kitchen which opens out in to the open plan huge living space. The kitchen has all mod cons including massive American style fridge that makes ice. The huge open plan sitting room has like a bar area, huge couches and chairs and a big stove. Room is decorated with wall art, elegant vases with artificial flowers and picture windows looking out on to the sea.All these spaces are so well coordinated. From the huge sitting area you can go back to the hallway through archway shaped glass doors, to the left of this is a spiral staircase and coming back down the hallway there are 2 double bedrooms. One bedroom is ensuite and is catered for someone with disability i.e. handrail beside bed and bathroom/shower equipped with rails/shower seat. This room is tastefully decorated with creams and golds and the furniture is creamy Italian style chunky pieces. The other double bedroom is bigger with ensuite and is tastefully decorated being white with hints of turquoise throughout linens and curtains. Both bedrooms have TVs and ensuites are showers.Up the spiral stair case there is an open area with couches, TV and pool table and some toys. This is an ideal area for children or adults to unwind. Off this area to the left is a double bedroom furnished with black furniture and separate bathroom with bath. To the right is the smallest double bedroom and is tastefully decorated also. Both bedrooms have TVs and share the one bathroom.

Delightful
Very relaxing break in a spacious house with some of the best views in the land. Would highly recommend. We were able to travel to other places nearby for day trips and even the village was a nice spot for some food or a few pints. Nice beaches were close by and also was able to get a bit of fishing in from the rocks and the pier. The owner was very helpful. Being able to collect your eggs each morning from the chickens was a nice touch for my young children

Connemara experience
Beautiful house in idyllic location. Very spacious with plenty of seating for all. Only drawback was the beds. We found them uncomfortable and in need of new better quality mattresses.

Beautiful location, Stunning house
Brian and Siobhán were excellent hosts always to hand when their help or advice was needed but leaving us in piece the rest of the time. This is a stunning house with tonnes of space in a fantastic location. It is a little bit weathered/tired in places but for the most part it is in great order. It would be a wonderful place for a couple of families to stay and enjoy evenings together in the huge living area ideal for entertaining. The adjacent cottage could be booked for an additional family. We highly recommend.

Amazing views
Me and my family stayed for a week (6 of us) and it was amazing. Great safe beach across the road for the kids. Lovely food in the local pub. If there was one down side it was the house was so big we needed more family with us :-) I will be returning as soon as I can.
