Located directly across from the beach (second row) with easy ocean access, Shutters By The Beach is a spacious year-round vacation rental located in the desirable Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach.

This popular beach house sleeps up to 16 people and features a large, RESORT-LIKE BACKYARD with PRIVATE POOL (unheated), sundeck with stone pavers, a pergola for shade, ping pong table, charcoal grill, and outside solar shower. There's plenty of seating around the pool to STRETCH OUT IN A LOUNGER or DINE ALFRESCO at the dining table.

Shutters By The Beach was furnished with your comfort in mind. Each of its two floors is nearly identical, allowing families or friends to enjoy their own bedrooms and kitchen amenities.

Unlike some 7+ bedroom homes for rent in North Myrtle Beach, the goal isn't to cram as many people in as possible. After all, this is your vacation, not summer camp! We've provided mostly kings and queens for guests to stretch out and get a great night's sleep.

The house features SEVEN BEDROOMS, EIGHT BATHS, and plenty of space to relax with family and friends. Six of the seven bedrooms have PRIVATE EN-SUITE BATHROOMS.

Shutters By The Beach features 3 KING SUITES with ensuite bathrooms, 2 QUEEN SUITES with ensuite bathrooms, 1 bedroom with 2 full beds and ensuite bathroom, and a 7th bedroom with bunk beds (two full mattresses) and a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.

Shutters By The Beach has TWO open-concept, fully-equipped KITCHENS with stainless steel appliances, and plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and silverware.

Guests enjoy 3 separate HVAC units, 2 for the second floor and 1 larger unit for the first floor to ensure your comfort at all times.

After a day LOUNGING AROUND THE PRIVATE POOL or spending time at WINDY HILL BEACH, enjoy relaxing in the two main living areas, each having 65” 4K TV’s, while each bedroom has a private 50” 4K TV and WIFI throughout the property.

There's ample parking for 5 - 6 vehicles in front of the house.

Your rental will be treated and disinfected with hospital-grade, EPA approved cleaners.

Family Vacation

This was our first visit to Myrtle Beach and I picked the perfect house and location. It had plenty of space for our family of 10 and we were across the street from the beach.

This house was perfect for our large family of 16. Very spacious and loved the fact that every bedroom has its own bathroom!! We had a few hiccups but what’s a vacation without one or two…lol. Our family already wants to stay again next year!!

Shutters at Myrtle Beach

We stayed at Shutters for our annual golf trip. The house is located one block from the beach and nearby to many of the golf courses we enjoy. Plenty of room to spread pit with both shared and private bedroom space. Perfect kitchen and great room for relaxation. And the pool area is terrific for outdoor activities and relaxing.

What an amazing location! The beach access is just right across the street! Plenty of bedrooms for my large family. The private swimming pool was amazing and enjoyed by all of us! I highly recommend this place.

A Well Needed Family Vacay

My family and I had an amazing time! Because we are a big family, it really helped that each room had its own bathroom. The house is spacious and I loved that the kitchen was big enough for us to sit down and eat as a family. In the words of my 7 year old niece “I love this mansion so so much” lol.

Best April vacation!

The house was amazing! It provided ample space for 3 families vacationing together. It was just steps to the beach. We loved the backyard pool in the evenings and having our morning coffee on the second floor balcony. We cant wait to come back next year

We loved the property and the layout of the house. It was perfect for our family. The only suggestion we had was that it needed a little bit extra TLC from the cleaning crew regarding the floors and the back yard.

Beautiful Home in Great Area

We loved staying at your home. It is a beautiful home with comfortable beds. The only complaint I had was the pool was very dirty (it was beginning of season) but I let owner know and they sent someone immediately to clean it. Great response from owners. We will book again.

Great for guys golf outting

Finding a place in N. Myrtle with this number of beds & baths is a challenge. For 8 guys on a golf outing, this place checks off all the basics. (Parts we loved) It is close to the beach. The bedroom & bath count is nice. The TVs are huge. And don't forget the ping pong table - where we spend a lot of time at the house. To top it off, the owner was super responsive and fast to respond to any inquiries. (Parts that could have been better) 1. Basics were sparse/missing. There were 3 rolls of toilet paper for all those bathroom, no hand soap, and no spare trash bags. We expected a trip to the grocery store but these are basics one would assume would be in stock/have at least 1-2 of each for all respective rooms. We were happy to donate laundry detergent & soaps the the house. Renters beware when you make your shopping list exhaustive of every item you can think of. 2. Overall condition - it's clear this is not a rental by owner and that's an okay thing. Little items like cracked walls, shower liners without curtains, a rusted grill, a tear in the screen, cockroaches on the main floor, and more than 5 bugs in the pool had us planning events outside of the home rather than hanging at the house. 3. Rental company vs owner - retrieving keys from a property company was fine but one extra step. Providing a credit card for potential damages was unexpected and seemed excessive to the rental agreement of VRBO. Not a big deal, just a heads up for future renters. We confirmed a late check out 15+ days before the rental with the owner, and confirmed the day of arrival with the agency but were never told that new renters were booked 2 days before we arrived. This lead to a hurried exit that could have been avoided with an easy phone call or email or call from the property management company. Overall - This place was good for a group of guys who want to reunite on the golf course but there are probably better options out there if you are looking for a family destination.

We had 6 couples and 5 children and had plenty of room, bedrooms are all good sized and each having a bath was great with the additional bathroom downstairs for everyone to use. Backyard is set up nicely with plenty of seating, Location is tops with the beach across the street and attractions within 1/2 hour and Barefoot Landings around the corner. Definitely planning on staying again in the future

The property was perfect for our family. Clean, plenty of rooms and the added bonus of en-suite bathroom in every room as well as full bath with tub/ shower on main floor. Pool area was spacious and our entire family enjoyed the pool. Nice wrap around porches on bottom and top floor with partial beach views from top porch. House was spacious and fit our family needs perfectly. Location to the beach was perfect. Boardwalk, activities and restaurants are anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes from home depending on where you choose to go. We would stay here again.

Shutters by the Beach is an amazing 2nd row beach rental! We vacationed with our entire family (17 of us - 1yr to 64yrs old) & we loved it! There is plenty of space to cook, eat, rest & play - both inside & outside! The front porches have ocean views & plenty of chairs to sit & enjoy them, especially the upper deck! The Windy Hill area is much quieter & less busy than some other N Myrtle areas where we have stayed, making the front decks very relaxing & not noisy @ all!The back yard & pool are truly outstanding as well - we swam everyday! We also grilled numerous evenings & relaxed around the family-sized table & on the many loungers. The beach is a quick walk away, no trouble @ all to come & go as you please - great for nap time for the littles! We also appreciated the solar-heated shower for rinsing the sand off after the beach.The beds are all quite comfortable & having en-suites for each family was absolutely necessary! Also, having an extra bathroom on each floor worked out great - especially the downstairs one, so our upstairs family members didn’t have to go up to their rooms to use the facilities!As expected with any rental property, we did experience a few minor issues when we first arrived, but everything was handled quickly & efficiently to make our stay very pleasant! Also, all of the maintenance staff we met were amazingly happy & friendly - so refreshing!We highly recommend Shutters by the Beach & hope to stay again next summer! 🩴

Perfect location for a golf trip for the guys.

House was nice. Could have been a little cleaner had a smell of sewage. No dish washing liquid for sink or scrub pads. Was kind of disappointed in the kitchen. There was no salt or pepper or any sort. No pot holders to use for grilling or cooking in the oven. Overall I would give it a 6 out of 10.

Great for Girls Golf Trip

We all loved the house. Eight women on a golf trip appreciated that we could all have our own room and bath. Two kitchens were a bonus. We loved the backyard with all its comfortable seating. A quick walk across the street got us to the beach. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Golf group trip

The positives were very spacious for a large group, good beds, hot shower, proximity to the beach. The negatives were difficulty with the nest thermostat (required calling the management company), wifi went out halfway into our stay, a pool repair person showed up during our stay and was there for over 4 hours and lack of basic supplies that should be provided like soap for bathrooms, sponges, dish soap, napkins, more than 1 roll of paper towels. I have never stayed in a vrbo rental that required me to go to a supermarket to buy basic supplies.

Shutters by the Beach

Amazing! Mr. Robert (host) and I have been communicating even before our stay! He was able to answer my questions and was very helpful! We didnt even have to wait until check time to get the code to go in the home! So thank you for honoring my wishes!! We arrived 2 hours early! We had a large group of 16 and the house accommodated us all! As soon as we opened the door to the home, we were stunned! Stunned at how huge it was! 2 kitchens full of pots,glasses, utensils! I wish I brought my k cups for my coffee since it has a keurig! Spacious very spacious the balcony in the front to sit and watch the view of the ocean! The smaller balcony in the back to watch the family in the pool! I also love that South Carolina has a law to alert the parents about children trying to get access to the pool by having the alarm at the sliding door. We grilled out, played ping pong, was able to wash clothes since the washer and dryer is outside. I can truly say this house is fully equipped! I didnt believe 5 vehicles could be parked in the front of the home, I was wrong! If we could buy this house we would! I can't speak on everyone else's experiences, all I know is that my family and I were very pleased! Just to hear my family say how happy they were, filled my heart! So if you have a large family and need to accommodate everyone, this home is in North Myrtle beach.We thank Mr. Robert for accepting us and allowing us to spend Spring break in the home! Perfect Vacation

The house was everything we thought it would be. We had our entire family, 15 people and the house was perfect. The kids absolutely loved the pool and the beach was just a short walk away. Anytime something small was broken or went wrong, it was immediately fixed. We will definitely be back, thanks for a great vacation!

Nice location, good property manager, poor check-in process, bedding/linens need to be upgraded

Check in process was messy. I was supposed to receive an email when the house was ready. I didn't. I called both contact numbers when 4:00 arrived and I hadn't received anything. Apparently an email was sent to the wrong person. All contact info was incorrect. The issue was resolved approx an hour after check-in time. Internet connection was not working when we checked in on Sat. Informed the property manager who promptly contacted the internet provider. A new router and splitter were installed on Mon afternoon. No problems with connectivity after that but 2 days without TV/service was difficult for our party of 13. I noticed other reviews about the sheets and have to comment. Only some of the beds have mattress protectors on them. The beds upstairs had a thin cotton scratchy sheet over the bare mattresses - no pad, no protector. One king bed didn't have a fitted sheet at all. Property mgr did address this as soon as it was brought to his attention. I would definitely recommend a linens upgrade. The house is nicely decorated and overall clean but could use a deep cleaning of kitchen drawers/stove, registers, fans, etc. Property manager, Robert, was very responsive to any and all concerns. Location was great. Just a short walk across the road to get to the beach. Having a washer and dryer was convenient. We had our family of 13 and cooked downstairs so didn't really utilize the u/s kitchen but it would be great for 2 families.
