When the tide is out, you can walk for a mile on the beach, exploring the sights and sounds of nature. Complimentary kayaks (2) and canoe (life jackets provided and required) are here for you to enjoy (when available).
This historical waterfront site was once a stopping point for the Steamer Arcadia, picking up local, fresh produce and passengers (including students for historical Stadium High school) to sail around the Puget Sound.

About the host

My husband Dave and I were married in 2015. I am from California and Dave from Washington. We both have grown children whom we are very close to. We decided that we would need to find a way to spend our time in both states to be near to our children and now, grandkids. We now split our time between the two places which can be very exhausting but so worth it. The property we bought in Washington had two homes on it. One we live in part time and the other is your vacation spot and the place where our children and friends stay when visiting. We are very happy that you will get to enjoy this amazing place.
Why they chose this property
When we married and were house hunting we came across this old rotting house on the side of the road that had been for sale for a long time. We decided to give it a look even though it was a major fixer upper. We got out of our car and turned the corner around the back of the house and were dumbfounded by the beauty of this property. There were two homes on this waterfront lot. One home sat right on the water, so right on the water that during high tide the water is actually under a part of the house. We soon learned that this run down cabin was once home to the Cromwell Ferry Ticket Booth. The second main home sat back a little from the water and was only partially complete. The walls had rotted out and the was water in the basement. There were many issues with the property but we knew the second we walked around the corner that we had to live here. We put our gloves on and with a lot of love, vision, help, money and time we transformed this property into a dream come true. We live in the main home and the cabin is for our family, friends and of course you. We feel truly blessed to wake up every morning to seals, eagles, otters, jellyfish, sand dollars, porpoise, waves, and a view that lets you know that God is God. This is a special place, a place where you feel peace. You can walk the beach, read on the deck, eat your meals looking out over the water and just relax. We were blessed to find this spot. Close to town, easy access, waterfront at its best. Everything has been redone and is beautiful. We even put a large window in the shower so you can stare out over the water while you are in there. Our kids do not want to leave when they come visit and that is a good thing. We are excited for you to stay
