This 3 bedroom duplex apartment in the Gilmafacho complex benefits of amazing views over the sea. It presents generous size rooms and has two lounge areas and various private outdoor spaces across 2 floors.

There are 3 bedrooms, all with double beds and one of these has a shower en-suite. In the lounge, there is a double sofa bed allowing the property to sleep 8 in total.

If you bring a baby, a highchair and travel cot is available for hire. Please contact us for more information.

There are 2 family bathrooms, both with bath and shower over.

For entertainment inside, the property offers free Wi-Fi and cable TV channels.

The complex itself boasts of a variety of free activities on-site such as 3 large pools, 2 child pools, tennis court, mini-golf, squash court. The complex also offers communal sun-loungers around all 3 pools. There is a games room, equipped with a pool table, a ping pong table and also complimentary Wi-Fi access, which should also reach the area of the second pool.

The complex is located about 1 km from the beach but due to its elevated position, a car might be recommended.

São Martinho is a beautiful small village, with a shell shaped bay. Due to its particular shape, the bay is the ideal beach for families with small children, as the strong sea current characteristic of the Atlantic ocean is not present here.

Throughout the sea front there are lovely restaurants, where you can delight yourself with delicious Portuguese food, nice cafés and bars.
Just a stroll away along the coast line and you'll find Salir do Porto River beach, which has the river streaming to the ocean and is also perfect for families due to its calm waters.

Hidden gem on the Silver Coast

Feels like a family home. We felt welcome at the first second. Nice pool and beautiful terrace. All essentials are there for a family holiday, but do not have expect massive luxury. It is a bit basic but with a lot of charme. Weather can be a bit unstable at the site, because of the proximity to the ocean and the hight.

Great location and views let down by sub standard interior

Beautiful location and complex along with a very helpful local property manager but our 3 week (€6.5k cost) was let down by having a barely functional fridge for 10 days, old and tattered cutlery and table cloths, blackened (mouldy) silicon around the bath, and an electrical problem in a switch that was initially a fire hazard but also an electrocution hazard for my kids that remained unresolved for 2 weeks and meant we couldnt use the geound floor.

Yderst fantastisk lejlighed....men

Kæmpe lækker lejlighed med den vildeste udsigt. Lækker pool og lækkert roligt område. MEN. Lejligheden lugtede voldsomt af fugt. Specielt soveværelserne var hårdt ramt så det var ikke rart at sover der. Dyner virkede ekstra tunge pga. fugt og hvis man åbnede skabe var den helt galt der fra. Da var også¨som om fugt havde trængt ind i alt træværk i lejligheden. Vejret i området spiller selvfølgelig en står rolle men det er bare ikke rart at sove i. Desuden var der også andre ting som "bare" skal fixes. Badekar lækkede i det ene badeværelse, Opvaskeren kunne ikke lukke lågen, brødristeren kunne ikke holde brødet nede og varmtvands beholderen havde sit eget liv og virkede mest kun når man "trickede" den efter Fillippes anvisninger.

Vue exceptionnelle

Très bon séjour en général avec vue sur la mer magnifique Complexe très beau avec ses 3 piscines et ses espaces verts Les points négatifs de cette location il y en a 2 : * le chauffe eau qu il faudrait penser à changer car il n arrêtait pas de se couper alors quand il faut prendre des douches pour 7 personnes... * il y avait beaucoup d humidité dans la maison alors pour faire sécher du linge cela n'était pas évident il faut dire aussi que le temps n'y était non plus... Mais à part cela vaut le détour 😁

Férias em Sao Martinho de Porto

A estadia foi muito agradável. O apartamento estava muito agradável na decoração e tinha tudo o que era necessário (não sentimos falta de nada). O Sr. responsável foi extremamente simpático, atencioso e muito prestável (cinco estrelas), sempre pronto a ajudar no que fosse necessário. Defeito a apontar, a falta de internet dentro de casa. Muito raramente conseguimos ter net em casa, havia mas era no terraço (o que não foi muito confortável), este é o único defeito a apontar.
