The rest of the interior includes a kitchen and sitting room with dining area, which can be found upstairs. Outside is a patio area with access to a river and an enclosed area which is safe for children. There is also plenty of roadside parking available. Mill Cottage is a wonderful retreat with the attractions of Sherwood Forest and the Peak District close by.

Clumber Park, belonging to the National Trust, is also close by and has over 3,000 acres of land for walking or cycling through as well as well-manicured gardens and a lake with over 200 different species of bird.
