Beautiful room on the first floor in an ancient sixteenth-century residence built by Carlo Lodovico de ’Piccolomini, nephew of Pope Pius II, Maciangrosso preserves intact the charm and suggestion of a past full of memories. Located on the natural rampart that closes the Valdichiana to the south, the farm house is immersed in the tranquility of a centuries-old park: a labyrinth of box hedges winds its way through severe cypresses and tall cedars, a characteristic Italian garden.
