We had a truly wonderful stay in this clean, comfortable and spacious Edinburgh gem! Lesley and James are thoughtful and attentive hosts. Communication with them was effortless and it was evident that they genuinely wanted to make sure we were comfortably settled, knew where everything was in the apartment and had everything we needed. This is a lovely apartment with beautiful views and within walking distance from everything… sights, shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended!
Immaculate new-town townhouse with well equipped kitchen and great view of the bank gardens. Don't miss the chance to take a walk in the private gardens near the flat.
Beautiful property, stunning gardens and excellent location. Lesley was instantly available to answer any questions. She was there to welcome us and even had some goodies waiting.
We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place for our stay! Lesley welcomed us herself upon arrival and even had stocked the fridge and pantry with some breakfast items and treats for us. They have thought of absolutely everything you might need for your stay and they have it all from an iron to outlet converters. Highly recommend!
Fabulous Flat with a Short Walk to the Center of Town
This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Edinburgh. It's right next to the garden and has the view of either the garden or the Dean Bridge Park and Walkway from every window in the flat. It's smartly furnished and very spacious. Lesley and Jim, the owners, are very nice, accommodating and responsive.
The lodgings were beautiful and, once you got your bearings, it was easy to travel everywhere on foot. The owner was very helpful and responsive, we couldn't have been happier. Just wish we would have been able to stay longer!
Fantastic flat, with beautiful features, and everything you need in it. The location is just perfect to walk around Edinburgh. I would highly recommend!
From checking in to checking out our stay in this lovely apartment was very special. The apartment itself exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect. We would highly recommend it. Eileen and Maryanne
Everything was good. Very comfortable, view over the valley of the Water of Leith, quiet although very near the centre of Edinburgh, everything you need. We will be back.
If this flat is available - take it! The building is charming, the flat is incredibly spacious and well-appointed, and the host is absolutely marvelous. We stayed Saturday to Friday, two couples 55 and had an amazing time. The flats set up is ideal in that there are separate bedrooms, cozy living spaces with a gas fireplace and a wonderful kitchen. The rooms are light filled with the most amazing views. A short distance from bus and tram lines you can get virtually anywhere in the city quickly, though we mostly walked because every place we wanted to visit was within 1-2 miles. Lesley our host was incredibly gracious. She offered transportation tips and directed us to the NHS when one of our party had a minor injury. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - and suggest you take this place if you can!
Our family of three spent a week in this beautiful flat. We loved everything about it. The beds, furnishings, kitchen, and views were outstanding and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Waking up in the morning with the light from the beautiful windows was something we all looked forward to everyday. Lesley met us at the property to let us in and was so kind and welcoming. There are so many thoughtful touches throughout the flat and the owners have truly thought of everything you might need while away from home. This is a very special place that I hope to visit again.
My wife and I spent a week at this wonderful flat with our two teenage daughters. It’s a perfect location in the heart of New Town, close to shopping and restaurants while remaining quiet and peaceful. The Leith flows just behind the property. You can cross the bridge over into Stockbridge too or walk to Dean Village. It’s also easy to hop onto public transportation or walk through Princes Street Gardens into Old Town. Lesley was a wonderful and responsive host. We would love to stay here again.
A lovely flat for our visit, high ceilings and glorious views. It is very well furnished and decorated and everything catered for. The small touches are a delight, such as breakfast items and a bottle of wine in the fridge, and lovely toiletries. It's so well situated on Ainslie Place, you can walk everywhere. A special extra is the key to private gardens, it made a big difference to us to have access to green space. Altogether a fantastic stay. If there is one thing to mention, it would be that the blinds let in light at the sides. So bring an eye mask for sleeping! I would highly recommend the flat as an exceptional place to stay in Edinburgh.
This flat was immaculately clean upon arrival and close to public transport any where you want to go. Lots of great eating places within 10 minute walk.
Our host was wonderful. Our travel plans were changed on us due to flight delays and our host was able to be flexible in order to get keys to us. She was very helpful before we even left the US with information about getting from the airport to the flat.
This flat is in an old building, but has been totally renovated and is done with great style. It was a gem to return to at the end of our 5+ miles of walking around Edinburgh each day.
I told my daughter as we shut the door on our way out, “When we come back to Edinburgh, we’ll be staying here again.”
Wonderful location, stunning apartment with great views and extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Couldn't ask for more, we would rebook again in a heartbeat. Thanks.
