Hot property - not so hot water
Loved our stay in Prospect Cottage, Kendal. Beautifully decorated - the look and feel of the place has been thoroughly thought through. Cosy, great log fire and well-situated to drop into Kendal town centre. However... after a day of climbing fells and getting cold and wet, don't expect the water in the property to be hot enough for a bath. The shower is fine - as is the central heating, but the combi boiler just doesn't get hot enough for a bath to soothe those aching muscles. A shame, but other than that, a really lovely property - we still loved our stay.
