About this property
Baddegama, Kiribathawila; Colonial Style Villa close to Hikkaduwa Beach
This peacefull 4 bedroomvilla; my ancestral home, is over a 175 years old, built on a hill surrounded by large trees, cinnamon plants, and coconut trees, set in 51/2acres of land. The villa still contains most of it’s original features. The trees are often visited by Grey monkeys and a variety of birds. In days gone by, one could see the river Ging, which flows pass the bottom of the land, but now the trees have blocked the view. The property is 6 miles from the famous Hikkaduwa beach with its 5 star hotels and night life, then 12 miles away is Galle city where you can visit the old Dutch Fort, which is a world heritage site. Unawatuna beach is also 25 minutes away. Guests get a garden view from all 4 bedrooms. 3 bedrooms has there own attached bathrooms and we also have a common bathroom.
