The 2 storey house has an amazing Caldera view and is ideal for families and large group of friends. It has 2 master bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds ( can be changed to a double bed on prior notice), a living room with 1 sofa double bed, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms.
Balcony and Terrace with Caldera/Volcano view and a heated Jacuzzi.
The house has also a garage for 2 cars, air-conditioning and central heating, Wi-Fi and a Flat-screen Smart TV with Netflix.

Admiral's House was amazing and looked just like the pictures in the listing. The views were even more stunning in person! It was clean, comfortable and in a good location. Christina was so helpful with all of our questions before the trip! Dave met us at the house when we arrived and even brought us a small supply of goodies which was so nice!! He was so friendly and all of the recommendations he gave us for thjngs to see and places to eat were Spot On!!!! Our stay was great and we would definitely recommend this place!!!

Akrotiri Villa

Our family enjoyed staying at the Akrotiri Villa. It was away from all the busy crowds and we loved using the hot tub looking across at Oia and Fira lights at night. You will l need a car to visit Fira and Oia but well worth it.

Akritori on Santorini

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. David and Christina made us feel at home and welcomed. Groceries from them upon arrival helped so much. Location to town center and the best beaches was very convenient. Enjoyed the privacy and the neighbors and would stay again!

We had a fantastic visit to the Admiral’s House in Akrotini. The views are AMAZING! The house has tons of character and just as posted. David met my daughter at check in and provided instructions, as well as providing some waters, and snacks. Very much appreciated! We were so happy with our stay!

Spectacular Views

We had a great experience at the The Admiral’s House! Family of 5 had plenty of room, very clean, and hot tub and deck was amazing! Christina was very responsive, and Dave met us at check-in and was very welcoming and gave us a great tour of the place and offered many great recommendations for for food and entertainment. Santorini Stay

The property managers were very communicative through the whole process. They gave us a great tour of the property and let us know all about Santorini during the stay so we knew the best food places and fun activities around town. Perfect Spot on Santorini

We traveled with another couple to Santorini and loved this Akrotiri apartment, where there was plenty of space for us to spread out. The view was beautiful, and we so appreciated starting and ending our days away from the crowds in Oia and Thera. The host was attentive and helpful, even stopping by for an hour one evening just to visit. I would definitely recommend this spot for a Santorini vacation!

We loved this property! David, Christina's husband met us and gave us some wonderful tips on restaurants and places to visit. We really enjoyed our tasty treats that were left for us. Wonderful property with spectacular views

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Admirals house in Akrotiri. The views were amazing. The top deck is luxurious with a great hot tub to enjoy in the mornings and evenings. Dave and Christina were wonderful hosts, very responsive and helpful. The location of the property in Akrotiri is also very nice. Not as crowded as Fira or Oia but they are both a short drive away. Stay here if you can.

Beautiful home

This property was wonderful! Dave was so helpful. He met us for check-in late in the evening with a kitchen stocked full of food for us to enjoy. He gave us many great recommendations for places to see around the island. The house was in a great location. There is an amazing view with multiple balconies and there was also a garage for us to park our rental car. We had plenty of space for our family of six. We highly recommend this property.

Best part of Santorini was the Admiral's House

We loved our stay at Dave and Christina's beautiful rental home! The place was so bright, airy and comfortable; it felt luxurious. The view from the top terrace was stunning both during the day and at night when the island is lit up. We loved hanging out in the hot tub and connecting as a family. Dave and Christina were so kind- they were prompt to reply to our questions online and helped us make arrangements for a rental car. Dave met us at check in and showed us around and stocked the kitchen with much appreciated essentials like milk, bread, cereal, OJ and coffee. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen clean and the memories will last a lifetime. Would highly recommend their home to anyone!

Sunny skies and a fair breeze

The Admiral's House deserves its name! It is lovely decorated with maritime elements and you have two perfect lookouts on all the ships entering the Caldera. One is sheltered and one on the rooftop with the jacuzzi. Even a pair of binoculars was provided. The whole place is carefully maintained and if you are a ship's cook you will find everything to prepare great meals for your crew. If you are fond of history, the excavations of Akrotiri are only an easy few minutes drive away. So are the village of Megalochori and the lighthouse - your navigator will be happy, too! But what about a house without talking about the hosts? It was an extraordinary pleasure to meet Christina and Dave! Great guys who are doing a great work. They know their island perfectly and shared their knowledge willlingly. So we had a great time. All the best wishes to our hosts!

Incredible view, great house and hosts

Loved everything about this place (other than the steep driveway, which you get used to)! David and Christina are great hosts; they are very helpful and responsive. David provides quite a bit of food and supplies when you arrive and has recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. We definitely recommend taking a sunset catamaran cruise with Sunset Oia and hiking the 6-7 miles between Fira and Oia. The villa is well-appointed and comfortable (though the mattresses and pillows could use an update), but, of course, the views from both the lower balcony and rooftop veranda are the real showstoppers. You can see the entire caldera with the islands, cruise ships coming in and out, and the towns of Oia and Imerviglio in the distance. The nearby town of Akrotiri is quaint. We had a great breakfast at Akrothiri and a nice dinner at Misteli. There is also a good taverna called Remezzo right on the water below the villa (it’s a bit pricey but the food and view are great). If you want all of the same breathtaking scenery without the crowds and congestion of Fira and Oia, this part of the island is for you! Everything you want to see is less than 20-30 minutes from the villa (the best beaches are only 5-10 minutes). We highly recommend Admiral’s House and will hopefully be back again someday!

Santorini trip

Wonderful views! The property has a private hot tub on the terrace facing the inside of the island towards the volcano. Comfy beds and located near a lot of great seafood as well as the Akrotiri excavations, if you're looking to sight see. Dave was a gracious host and gave us the rundown of everything we needed to know about the island. Would definitely do it again!

LIFE CHANGER

We had a truly memorable and fabulous stay here at the Admiral’s House. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. We were greeted by David on day one and he took his time to make sure we had everything we needed. He is very kind and hospitable. We felt right at home.The home and amenities were perfect. Very clean , cozy and comfortable. It was nice to travel away from all the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist areas and relax in the hot tub at night which provides a breathtaking view of the island. I would definitely return to this place and would highly recommend it without hesitation.

Why they chose this property

The excavations of Ancient Akrotiri is just a 5-minute drive. They were discovered in the early 70's and is second to the Pompei excavations. Close to the excavations you have Akrotiri beach which has a selection of fish taverns, a great place to chill out. A little further along you come to the famous Red beach which is very scenic but can be quite crowded in the summer. On the north side of the cape just before entering Akrotiri you will find Caldera beach. The beach is very nice and has a natural reef that you can swim to, great for snorkeling. There is also a dive center for those interested in scuba. The one tavern there has a great view of the Volcanos across the Caldera. Heading on the road towards the lighthouse you will find Mesa Pigadia, which is a small bay. The adventurous ones can go out kayaking or have some lunch and a swim. Continuing further the road ends at the lighthouse. A great place to explore, and very famous for the sunset. Snacks and drinks can be purchased there.
