The Nest is just minutes from Historic downtown Beaufort , also just a 20 minute drive to Hunting Island Beach, This loft style apartment has an open sleeping and living area, with a fully stocked kitchen and dining nook, full size bathroom. The king size pillow top mattress is perfect for a peaceful nights sleep, enjoy movies on the 32" flat screen tv with netflix and internet connection.Relax with a cool drink on your porch and listen to the birds sing, take a stroll to neighborhood shops and restaurants or bike the amazing Spanish Moss trail , fish or crab from the Port Royal Pier , put your boat in and experience the low country from the water or simply sit and soak up the sun at Sands beach all this and more in the charming seaside town of Port Royal. Ya'll come now! P.S. Listing was exactly as described! Super adorable and cozy nest. The location was superb! The locals were so inviting and wonderful. We felt super safe and welcomed at the Nest. Phoebe was great at answering any questions we had! Overall we would hands down request to stay here again! We love the town, quaint apartment, and atmosphere!

It wasn't horrible, but the advertised pictures were clearly old and out dated. Not at all what I was expecting. It also had a bad oder when we walked in. Bathroom had used toiletries left out as if being offered for us to use. Some of the kitchen drawers were dirty on the inside, some trash was left under the kitchen sink (trash cah was located in a separate cabinet. When we arrived, we called the host as we were having some issues with the keybox. Host did not answer, nor called us back.

Great stay!

Enjoyed our visit to Port Royal. The Nest was a very cute place. Bed was really comfortable and the place was very clean and quiet! Had a great time and enjoyed nearby restaraunt Coffee Shop and Brewery!

great small space

This was a great place for a weekend get away. There is no dishwasher except your own hands but for a short stay that was really not an issue, but I would not want to do a long stay there. Also, there was no bags in the trash cans and part of our check out was to remove all trash and they did not say where to put the trash so we had to get bags from the grocery to use and then take it with us to a gas station to throw away.

Sojourn at “The Nest”

The Nest was cozy and exceeded my expectations. Port Royal is an amazing place and so wonderful to be able to walk everywhere from the rental. The view from the porch was fantastic, especially at night with a full moon. A very clean and safe location. I plan to return.

Weekend with my daughter

My daughter and I stayed in the upstairs apartment known as “The Nest” for two nights to visit Port Royal and Beaufort. It was perfect for us, easy to find, and the location was great. Everything we needed for a weekend getaway was available and we appreciated the owners attention to detail. It was our home-away and I would certainly be happy to return. Thank you!

Elderly adults that love the beach and history.

Senior citizens that love to travel but due to our age, we must pick sites that have guided tours. We enjoyed both the buggy tour and the boat tours. I can never see enough of Nature and we saw many dolphins.

Nice stay

Very nice studio-ish upper. Stairs especially with luggage, as mentioned in listing could be an issue for mobility challenged. Very comfortable temperature controls in the rental.

This property was as advertized. This was a perfect place to stay while we were in the area for our grandson's graduation from Marine recruit training. The unit was clean and comfortable and the area was quiet. Also, there are plenty of good places to dine out close by. We would like to return to the area some day and stay a little longer and if we do we would like to stay at this property again.

Anniversary at The Nest

My husband and I wanted a simple quiet weekend and we got it. The location was good. Others staying at the house were quiet, we were blessed. I would have loved to have had a bench or trunk in the nook where the intimates chest was to put my luggage, maybe some hooks in that area to hang hand bag, etc. Updated fluffy pillows? Just some thoughts. It's an adorable place. Suggestions for meals--Paninis in Beaufort, Lowcountry Cider Company on 21, Beebos on 21 and Fishcamp on 11th. All really great meals!!!

Location

We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Bed was great with plenty of room for the two of us. Drawbacks lacking of hand towels in the bathroom, TV stations would cut out due to weak signal. Couldn’t get Netflix to work. We brought our own fire stick so that was the only way to watch TV. Pheobe was receptive to our needs and will look into the problems we had.
