A lovely little barn that sleeps two in the heart of the countryside, perfect for lovers of the great outdoors.. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: 22" Freeview TV, Woodburner
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Hob, Combi Microwave/Oven/Grill, Slow Cooker, Fridge/Freezer
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet
First Floor:
Bedroom: Galleried, Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Electric heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Welcome pack. . Patio with garden furniture, gas BBQ, summer house (open Apr-Oct) and firepit (shared with owner and other properties on-site). 3-acre unspoilt grounds with woodland (shared with owner and other properties on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a spring. There is a fenced river in the grounds, 100 yards away.. The Pig Sty is a lovely, semi-detached barn conversion, accessed via a rough track, and sat in the heart of the Crychan Forest, nestled between the Brecon Beacons and Cambrian mountains. This holiday home is a wonderful retreat for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property is situated on the owner’s small holding, where you will see chickens, sheep, pigs and geese roaming around the fields in front of the house. There is much to see and do in the area including cycling, walking, hiking, birdwatching and fishing.
The property comprises of an open plan living space with a lovely wood burner to keep you warm on those chilly nights. There is also a double sofa bed on the ground floor, a shower room and on the first floor is a galleried bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Bath robes are also provided! To the exterior of the property are shared grounds and a shared garden with a seating area and a summerhouse which has a barbecue, Rayburn and a griddle (the summerhouse is available in summer only).
Stabling is also available at the property by prior arrangement should you wish to bring your horses. Shop and restaurant 4¼ miles, pub 4¾ miles.
The Pig Sty can be booked together with The Hen House (ref UK13352) and The Cow Shed (ref UK13351) to accommodate up to 10 guests.
The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply.
Approach to property is by a rough or gravel track.
