The Space:
Welcome to this modern and spacious 75 m² 2-bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor of a building without a lift, perfectly situated on Charlotte Street in the heart of Fitzrovia. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every arrival so you can settle in straight away.
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen bed, Bedroom 2: 1 Queen bed, Living Room: 1 double sofa bed. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub.
The living area is a great space to unwind, with a smart tv (flat screen) and dining table and chairs.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: full fridge, oven, microwave, stove, dishwasher, drip (Delonghi) coffee machine, and electric kettle and toaster. A combination washer-dryer is available for your convenience. The flat has electric heating throughout the cooler months.

Check-in: From 3:00 PM via self check-in — simply collect the keys at a nearby location. If you’re arriving after 7:00 PM and need someone to meet you with the keys, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Late arrivals between 7:00–9:59 PM incur a £50 fee; 10:00 PM–12:59 AM is £90; after 1:00 AM is £120. We’re flexible when we can be — just give us a heads-up!

Damage deposit: A refundable damage deposit of £800 is required before arrival. It may be processed via a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, Swikly, or Flywire. The deposit is returned in full within 14 days of check-out following a standard inspection.
Max guests: 8 people (including children and infants). Please keep within this limit so everyone is comfortable.
Smoking: The apartment is non-smoking throughout.
Events: The apartment is a private home and not suitable for parties or events.

A comfortable and spacious apartment with more than enough room for two of us!Tidy, bright, and a pleasant home away from home for the week. Our only real disappointment was that showers lacked pressure but we could make do.Check-in was a convoluted but still reasonably easy. Luggage storage next door prior to check in time was very convenient. Would recommend and stay here again.

I stayed with my family in this 2-bedroom apartment, located in a really good location. It was perfect, right in the middle of everything, and the apartment itself was filled with natural light, making it warm and cozy. The host provided us with clear and easy instructions for checking in. Communication was smooth, as we could reach out on various platforms whenever we needed. After our stay, the damage deposit was refunded quickly, which was a nice touch. It really felt like a home away from home for my family and me.

Owners were willing to communicate regarding check-in, deposit, etc. Ad did not.mention that apt was on 3rd floor (very steep stairs). Cozy efficiency apt. Towel warming bar in Master Bath a hidden gem. Alarm system monitoring was annoying but fixed promptly by owner. Overall happy with stay.

Traces of bugs in master bed + Unresponsive Host
We were not allowed to check-in until 3:30pm. I travel 20 times a year for work and I am in and out of hotels. I have learned what to look for on a mattress to see if a hotel room has bed bugs. I do this for VRBOs as well. I was on vacation with my wife and kids. The master bed had signs of activity. To confirm I wasn't crazy, I sent photos to a friend of mine who is an exterminator. He agreed I should not stay there. I called the host at 5:00pm. The host did not respond until the next afternoon. They claimed their cleaning person checked it out and it was fine. The host will not call you and you cannot call and speak to anyone. You can only send chat messages or leave voice messages. They will NOT call you back.
Even if I believed them, at his point, I had already paid for one night at a hotel and was committed to a second night because it was too late to check out. I tried to negotiate something that would satisfy both parties. I purchased the insurance for this trip. The host suggested I file an insurance claim. So, that's what we did. It took 40+ days to get an answer and it was denied. Bed bugs are not covered by the insurance that you buy through VRBO. I then called VRBO about this and they said, "It is too late to do anything to help you."
The lessons learned:
(1) This place had bug activity in their mattress.
(2) This host is unresponsive. They will never call you. They would only send text messages through the VRBO chat and it will often take hours or overnight to hear back.
(3) Do not buy the insurance. It was a joke.
(4) Do not trust your host's advice and contact VRBO ASAP.
VRBO said I should have called VRBO sooner. I just assumed the host was working with me, not against me.

El apartamento era luminoso, muy limpio y muy cómodo. La cama era confortable, la cocina estaba completamente equipada y el Wi-Fi funcionaba muy bien. La ubicación era excelente, cerca de tiendas, restaurantes y transporte público, lo que facilitaba mucho moverse y explorar la zona. Vi bodde nylig hos familien min i denne herlige 2-roms leiligheten i hjertet av London. Beliggenheten var perfekt, midt i alt, og selve leiligheten var fylt med naturlig lys, noe som gjorde den varm og innbydende. Verten ga oss klare og enkle instruksjoner for innsjekking. Kommunikasjonen var jevn, da vi kunne nå ut på ulike plattformer når vi trengte. Etter oppholdet ble depositumet raskt refundert, noe som var en fin detalj. Det føltes virkelig som et hjem borte fra hjemmet for familien min og meg.

Very pleasant stay. Relatively newly renovated. Quiet neighborhood. Clean interior but dirty common entry area.
Basic kitchen utensils and cookware available. No spices and no fancy cookware, so not set up for doing extensive cooking. No laundry detergent but basic shampoo, body wash and 3 dishwasher cube included. No washcloths. So overall it's good value for the money and a great location for seeing London. But not a spectacular place.
