Nestled on the South Holston River, Serenity Lodge is a pet-free home and offers a peaceful retreat for a family getaway or a long weekend away for the guys or the gals. The house sits up on a hill, overlooking the river. Whether you visit our lodge for a fishing getaway, a NASCAR weekend or something else, we work hard to make sure your stay is amazing. We can't wait to meet you!

We are conveniently located for easy access to all of the Tri-Cities (Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City) and Bristol, Virginia.

Our guests will enjoy all aspects of the lodge during their stay. We have a beautiful picnic area attached to the lodge that is enclosed on 3 sides perfect for cooking out. We call this "The Alcove". We also have a dock on the river that sits at the foot of our property. (You can either walk down the front lawn and across the street *about 100 yards**, or drive your vehicle to park on the pull-off next to the dock.) It houses 2 picnic tables for eating right on the water.

NOTE: Fishing in front of our property is prohibited from November 1st through February 1st, as this section of the river is closed for spawning during this time frame. There are other sections of the river that remain open, just not directly in front of our house.

A Welcome Retreat

We stayed at the Serenity Lodge for the second year during the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion. A well-equipped and lovely property located a short drive from town, it provides a restful and welcome retreat from the noise and crowds of the festival. We especially enjoyed the entertainment barn where the musician in our group entertained us with quiet music.

Family vacation

The house was as shown in pictures. Beautiful property and location. It is on a hill and the driveway is gravel and quite steep. The steps in the house to the upstairs master are steep also. We loved the outside building with the picnic tables and lights, it was perfect! Definitely will be going back for future visits!

Perfect In Every Way

This is our second time as this beautiful home. We enjoyed it just as much as last summer. It is well taken care of and has everything you need. Nothing can beat relaxing on the porch and watching the river go by. It is my perfect place. Hopefully, we can return again next summer. Thanks again!!!

Why they chose this property

Our family grew up in this area. It has always been a favorite for fishing and has been featured on the Travel Chanel. We are also within very short distance from Bristol Motor Speedway and Downtown Bristol. We hope our lodge offers a relaxing stay for those who travel to our area.

What makes this property unique

Our lodge has a rustic appearance on the exterior. We have a fabulous picnic area called "The Alcove" that is perfect for outdoor entertainment. At the foot of our property we have a dock with two picnic tables for eating right on the river.
