Hello Alexandra,
To my horror I have realised that I never never responded to your review.
I hope you have been ok through Lock Down and your family too. Now Spring is here, I expect you are enjoying your garden and I hope your plants from Cookham are thriving.
All the best. Edward
Beautiful apartment in a lovely part of the UK. Ideal for our one night stopover. Everything we needed and more! Excellent hosts with great communication.
While visiting nearby family, we only needed a place to sleep, shower and use as spot to keep our luggage. All of our needs were met. It is directly behind the high street, with the local pubs, tea shop, restaurants and shops a brief walk away. The host was very friendly and accommodating. There is an interesting history to the property, making it a charming place to stay.
Me and my mum stayed for 4 nights, we were both very impressed with how clean and spacious the apartment was, it has original beams and wooden floorboards, which were delightful, there is amazing restaurants and river walks within walking distance, and also lots to do a short drive away, the only suggestion is maybe get a little sofa in the main area, the host provided fresh milk and tea/coffee and did check throughout our stay if we needed more, all in all we had a wonderful stay, and would definately stay again

It was a pleasure to host Anna and Doris. They kindly kept us informed of their travel plans and upon departure the apartment was left very tidy and clean. We hope they enjoyed their stay in Cookham.
Very attractive accommodation: the high ceilings gave the accommodation a light and airy feel and the interior wood finishes were beautifully in keeping with the age of the property with its long interesting history. The host was very welcoming and attentive to our comfort and needs.
Lovely and convenient place to stay for all things near Cookham. Edward and Caroline were very easy to work with and quick to respond to requests and questions. Would definitely stay again!
The accommodation is very clean and conveniently situated as it’s near to the high street restaurants etc. There’s easy access via a private driveway so there’s no need to disturb anyone.
The rooms are warm, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hosts Caroline & Edward are very friendly and helpful, I’ll happily stay here again during any future visits to Cookham.

We real enjoyed hosting Jenny and Paul again. It was their second visit this year and it was fun to meet more members of their family in Cookham this time.
We only stayed one night but the hosts were great and the property was comfortable. A few things not on the itinerary but the host explained this and a few things included like Croissants, yoghurt , orange juice etc for breakfast that was a nice addition. Overall we thought it was a great place to stay.
We had a perfect stay in this charming property, clean, peaceful, friendly hosts and hope to use again in the future.

Lovely and quiet hideaway in Cookham. Edward and his wife were very hospitable and even offered to pick up groceries for us. Highly recommended.

Lovely property. Was very well kept and clean. It had a lot of character and was very comfortable. Ideally located just off the main road with a rustic feel. Owners are very friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge and tips. All in all a very nice property for a weekend away with my friends. Just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed hosting Thomas, Will and Gareth. They kept us up to date with their arrival plans and kindly left the apartment super tidy when they left. We enjoyed getting to know them and admired how much they walked during their visit. Five star guests all round.
