A stylish apartment close to all tourist sites

This apartment is very nicely decorated and has all amenities required for a comfortable stay. The area in which it is located is a little run down but we felt completely safe walking around and the apartment was very secure. It is situated on the 4th floor so you need to be fit enough walk up and down the steps but that was no problem. The owner, Massimo could not have been more helpful, both throughout the booking process and while we were staying there. He even met us at the bus and took as to the apartment, which was very unexpected. His cousin lives in an apartment a few floors down so was always available if any problems arose.We had originally planned to hire a car but decided against it and that was the best decision. Driving around Palermo was very difficult and parking would have been a problem. The location of the apartment is so close to the centre of the city that it is easy to walk everywhere and it was a short walk to the bus stop to Central Station and a quick trip there. There are plenty of eating place close by also. Thank you Massimo for your help in making our stay in Palermo so memorable
