A really well-appointed property. Far enough away to feel secluded, yet close enough for amenities that you need. We just stayed close for a couple of nights getaway, so bought in, grilled and then relaxed on the patio.
The property has everything you could need and some nice touches, such as a Brita water jug, partially stocked cupboards, full laundry facilities with detergent and a big grill. The random books scattered around also made for interesting reading for a visiting Brit e.g. Paine - Common Sense! All together, these things made for a really nice welcome, making arriving so much easier. It also meant the initial shop (grocery stores only 10 mins away) didn’t need to be enormous, as is so often the case when staying in rentals. Recommend going to property first before grocery shopping.
Overall, this is a great spot to do whatever takes your fancy - solitude, hiking, go out for dinner, or any combination thereof. We’ll be back!
