Dato Aminudin Hashim (DAH) is a professionally qualified Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants or CIMA, UK) who is in his late 40s and has worked across broad spectrum of industries around Asia Pacific during his stint in MNCs and International Management Consulting firms. He studied in the UK and has also attended Harvard Management Programs in the past. He was also the recipient of Sir Ian Morrow award by CIMA, for being the Best Student in Strategy & Marketing in 1996.

He opted for early retirement from professional and corporate career, the last position held was as a CEO of a Think Tank and later a Group Managing Director of State Owned Enterprise to focus on his dream to run his own hospitality management group based in Langkawi. In 2017, he founded Amazing Group of Companies and has turned his passion for hospitality into his full time profession and has since acquired Villa Tiga (V3) in 2018 (formerly a private villa for a British Engineer couple) and has turned V3 into a serene and precious property for distinguished guests. He later bought a piece of land adjacent to V3 and is in the midst of building Villa Lima (V5) which will be opened by 2021, with the concept of living without walls (amidst nature, using sustainable materials) that will offer only 10-rooms villas. He is also in the midst of completing Villa Tujoh (V7) which was formerly a private residence of a French couple in Langkawi, overlooking a stunning view of paddy field and Mat Raya Mountain. V7 will open partly in July 2020 with 3 bedroom villas and later when completed will be a 5 units 10 bedroom villas.

DAH is passionate in making Langkawi the destination of choice for private villas, and he shared his passion with his wife Aida and 4 kids. Aida cooks fantastic home made local dishes and previously owned/operated a restaurant in Ipoh and served the Royals and Hollywood celebrities!. She conducts cooking class occasionally.
