Fabulous

Lovely apartment, lots of space. Very quiet peaceful location with great terraces. 10 minute stroll and you reach the promenade with bars and restaurants. We hired a car to visit stunning mountain villages, Nerja a short drive away. One thing, the parking space is very tight we just parked on the road outside, much easier.

Worst beds and sofas

The apartment was beautiful in a gorgeous area. However, no consideration was given to the comfort of anyone over 30 years old. The beds were very low and difficult to get out of and the two sofas in the living room were incredibly uncomfortable. No walk-in showers, only bathtubs with no slip mats or grab bars. We had to buy slips mats.We will be back to Torrox Costa, but not to this unit

Situated well for walking

Where it is situated it is ideal for walking down the seafront both ways. It’s in a gated complex that feels secure. Parking on the roadside is relatively easy but not in the allocated spot as it’s very tight. It’s spacious and bright, and has all the basic amenities that you require. There are beautiful sea views, and the terraces are good for meals and relaxing on. Should you have any problems then Casasol are quick to respond and help. Generally it needs a check round that lights and equipment is working. The shower curtain rail falls down frequently. Light at the foot of the external stairway would be helpful as it’s not well lit. Mirrors in the bedrooms and more spare bedding and blankets please.

het verblijf voldeed helemaal aan de website beschrijving? We werden voortreffelijk ontvangen, ook verder geholpen toen de TV niet werkte, wekelijks controle van het jacuzzi water. Enige opmerking, we kregen het verblijf niet verwarmd op de frissere dagen.

Nice apartment in need of some maintenance.

The size of the apartment and location off the beaten path, as well as views off the balconies. The hot tub is a bonus. The apartment needs a paint job, inside and out, starting with the stairway and front door. The sliding doors to the upstairs balcony are stiff. The sliding doors to the very small east facing balcony downstairs need adjusting, because when one side is closed the other opens. The shutters on both want to stick when being lowered. The drain in the upstairs tub smells of mildew. Both bathroom faucets should be replaced with ones with longer spouts. There are holes in walls and floor and large electrical lines that need covering. The tile floor in the kitchen needs thorough scrubbing (for comparison look at tile in laundry area) . The water dispenser in the kitchen needs fixing. A guest manual would be helpful both about the area and the apartment.

The apartment was exactly as described. A lovely sea view, close to shops and cafes. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Some initial problems with the satellite TV system were very speedily sorted out and the service provided by Casasol holidays was excellent. We will certainly look to stay here again.
