Spend the night in a Haspengouw square farmhouse and enjoy the green surroundings. Alken is the perfect base to explore the fruit and blossom region. Visit the cozy Sint-Truiden or Hasselt, discover Limburg by bike or vespa on one of the many cycling routes and enjoy the Limburg gastronomy!
Our 'Smidse' is a country-style apartment of almost 100m² and can accommodate up to 6 people. It has two stylish bedrooms. The comfortable sofa bed is located in the living room. In the extensive kitchen you will find all the cookware you could wish for. A beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet complete this apartment. De Smidse is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.
The accommodations have their own private parking space and each has its own entrance. Enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful garden. During the harvest season, guests can enjoy the many fruit trees in the garden (cherries, apples, forest fruits, walnuts).
If guests wish, a breakfast basket with fresh local produce can be provided (€ 15 per person, please reserve in advance).
In the evening you can relax in the luxurious infrared sauna. We also offer various services. You can rent electric bikes from us to explore the region or you can book a massage for yourself and your partner.
