La Bergerie a stunning 200 year old stone barn conversion with large private swimming pool. Situated in a quiet location in the quaint village of Eus, officially 'un des plus beaux village de France', one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Fabulous views of Mount Canigou and the ancient village from the pool terrace. Ideal for large families, several couples or groups (walkers, cyclists etc).

Layout
The house is arranged over two floors, the ground floor is devoted to family living areas. The enormous lounge has a very comfortable sitting area with three large sofas pulled up together to take advantage of the log fire, making it cosy on those cooler winters evenings. There is also an office area and a quiet reading corner. Along the length of one wall there is the original manger where the animals would have eaten. This has now been turned over to a storage area for logs.

The brand new kitchen is equipped with everything you could need to create quick snacks or gourmet dinners. We have endeavoured to create the kind of kitchen that is enjoyed, an induction hob, a large fridge- freezer, granite worktops, good sharp knives, plenty of gadgets and most importantly a dishwasher.

The kitchen looks over the large dining area with a table for up to 10 people. We have equipped the dining room with good quality, matching tableware for you to create an elegant table.

There is also a WC on the ground floor.

Upstairs are five bedrooms with views over the village and the Pyrenees mountains. We have a mixture of double and twin bedded rooms to suit possibly two or three families sharing or maybe bringing parents, grandparents and children together for a special family holiday.

The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom with large shower, double ended bath and sink unit. The second bedroom also has an en suite shower room. The other bedrooms share the family bathroom and we also have 2 separate WC's, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor. All the beds have quality linen and towels.

Outside
Large 8m x 4m crystal clear pool with stunning views over the village and the mountains. Secure and safe for children, it has security cover conforming to French regulations and lockable gates can be used to restrict children's access to pool terrace. It is serviced twice weekly - safety, hygiene and cleanliness are a priority.

The paved pool terrace is surrounded by trees, including figs - feel free to help yourself when they are in season. The trees ensure privacy without compromising the stunning views of Eus village and mount Canigou. Shady and sunny spots to suit all tastes, relax on one of the sun loungers, splash around in the pool or sit and read with a long glass of something icy cold.

We have supplied a Weber gas BBQ with hood, so that you can cook and eat al fresco. The outdoor wooden table is amply big enough for 10 people and is positioned in a covered, shady dining area on the terrace.

Internet: Uncapped broadband with 50 Mbps download speed. 2.4 & 5Ghz WiFi available in the house and by the pool.

TV: Netflix provided, free of charge. Large selection of English and French channels.

DVD player: Blu-ray and DVD player, along with a selection of adult and children's DVDs

Stereo: Enthusiast quality ARCAM receiver with B&W speakers and iPod dock - full instructions in English and French. Sonos music streamer

Parking: Parking space for up to three cars. Additional off-street parking available by arrangement.

Babies: A collapsible travel cot, suitable for children up to two years old, is provided and a high chair. Please ask if you require further baby equipment please we can supply bath, pram etc.
