The area has been declared a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco. In a radius of 50 kms you can go hiking, monumental visits to Celanova, Ribadavia, Allariz, Ribeira Sacra or enjoy the hot springs of Ourense and Prexigueiro. The Xurés Natural Park is 40 minutes away and is ideal for hiking trails.
