La Ferme is a fantastic 4 bedroom cottage sleeping up to 8 people which lies on the SE corner of Le Roudier. With 2 entrance doors and a wheelchair friendly downstairs area, the accommodation is both flexible and practical for families. The access to the large 14m x 7m pool is via the private shady terrace which provides the ideal retreat, beneath the vine covered pergola, to relax on the hammock or loungers. The games and bar area allow you to escape the heat of the mid-day sun and of course benefit from poolside, alfresco living.
La Ferme formed part of the original 300 year old farmstead and retains many of the original features and character. The well equipped kitchen at the centre of this cottage gives you the option of experimenting with some of the wonderful local specialities. If all that seems like too much hard work and you really don’t want to be going out to one of the many local restaurants, contact the owners (in advance of your stay) to arrange for a local chef to come in and cater for you.

The Dordogne valley, only 15 minutes from Le Roudier, has a wealth of interesting history dating back to Neolithic villages and wall paintings most which are open to the public. For those of you who are looking for a more relaxing holiday, the country walks and local markets provide an excellent platform to soak up the atmosphere and sample some of the local produce. From families with children to couples looking for a peaceful retreat this area can offer a wide range of holiday experiences from evening open air theatres to go carting and bowling.
