Drive along a country lane as you approach the stunning house of Le Pin with fenced large garden at the back of the property, ideal for Alfresco evenings, with plenty of room for children to run around and play. The property is spacious, bright and sleeps up to 6 adults or a combination of adults and children.
A welcome hamper will be prepared for you to settle in and unwind on arrival. The garden is lovingly cared for to create an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity in a well-appointed area that is only 15 minutes drive away from the World Heritage site Mont Saint-Michel. Le Pin is also perfectly positioned to visit the beautiful towns of Saint-Malo, Dinard and Dinan with plenty of restaurants and bars to sit and relax. If you prefer to hang out at the beach you will have lots to choose from, such as Saint Benoit-des-Ondes, Cherrueix, La Guimorais and Cancale.
From the entrance you proceed into an open plan kitchen and dining area. It is well equipped and is a French Country Style kitchen, there is also a dining table with 6 chairs.
The lounge leads from the kitchen and is particularly large - an ideal space for all the family to relax together. This beautiful room has patio doors on one side which lets in lots of light creating an amazing space and these patio doors open into the fenced large back garden. There is a fireplace with a wood burning stove, a large flat screen TV and comfy sofas to relax in. From the lounge there is a separate WC and hand basin.
The stairs from the lounge lead up to the second floor, there is a large open plan hall with views over the stunning countryside. The master double bedroom is situated up here which is very spacious, with a juliet balcony overlooking the barn. There is also a large bedroom upstairs with a double bed and two singles and plenty of games from table football to a drum set. There is a family bathroom with a separate shower cubicle, a bath, hand basin and a WC.
There is a travel cot available provided for babies.
KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchen is well equipped with a host of appliances e.g. gas oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee-machine, lots of kitchen utensils and a fabulous supply of cookery books.
A plentiful supply of crockery and tableware, with no shortage of cutlery and glassware to compliment.
The house also has a washing machine which guests can use.
LIVING ROOM
The stunning open plan lounge is super large with a large patio window to maintain a light and airy space. A choice of comfy sofas and chairs provide ample space for all the family to relax together. A mixture of contemporary and country style furniture tastefully complete the look of this spacious room.
Entertainment consists of a large TV for DVD and FireTV viewing only, DVD player, plentyful supply of DVD’s, broadband WIFI internet connection, books and a selection of indoor board games.
BEDROOMS
Le Pin there are 2 sizeable double bedrooms. The main double bedroom offers a double size bed, bedside cabinet with lamps, dressing table, wardrobe and clothes rail (this bedroom is situated down stairs).
The second large bedroom also has double size bed, two single beds, bedside cabinets with lamps, a wardrobe and clothes rail allowing plenty of hanging space. This room also functions as a playroom.
BATHROOMS
There is one family bathroom on the first floor, which has a bath, separate shower, a wash hand basin and a WC.
On the ground floor just off the main lounge there is another WC with a hand wash basin.
Guests are supplied with a towel set consisting of bath towel, hand towel, and good quality bedding is provided. Beach towels are not supplied.
HEATING
The cottage has a wood burning stove in the lounge and electric heaters are also within each room.

The Le PIN stands within private grounds and has beautiful gardens. There are large lawned area to the rear for the children to play safely.
Plenty of garden furniture and loungers are supplied to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet in a rural setting. There is also charcoal bbq with tools.

There is ample space in the secure courtyard for off road parking at the property.

LOCAL AREA:
Le Pin is 4kms, just a 5 minute drive from the village of Pleine Fougeres. Here you will find boulangeries and a supermarket. The UNESCO Heritage Centre of Mont St Michel is within 15 minutes’ drive from the property.
A little further afield is the medieval town of Dinan with its chateau dating back to 1384, restaurants, bars, markets, banks, a supermarket and boulangeries.
St Malo is about 36 minutes drive away where there a beautiful walled city with lots of shops, bars, restaurants and pretty harbourfront.
Another lovely medieval town worth visiting is Moncontour, just under 40 minutes away. There are cobbled streets, plenty of shops and numerous bars, cafés and restaurants.
The stunning coast at Cancale is a beautiful coastline which is only just over 30 minutes drive away. It is defiantly worth a visit and is the birthplace of Saint Jeanne Jugan. Here you can go see the Pointe du Grouin.
THE BRITTANY REGION:
Le Pin; is in the Department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the beautiful region of Brittany in northern France and it is just on the boarders between Brittany and Normandy.
Brittany is easily accessible from the UK via several Ferry Ports and is also served by flights from the UK to 4 French airports (Dinard, Rennes, Brest, Nantes).
From spectacular beaches with rugged coastlines to vast sandy expanses, to peaceful woods and forests and the famous Mont Saint-Michel which is a World Heritage Site is only 16km’s away.
The cuisine in the area includes crepes and galettes and of course the seafood! Mussels and oysters are available throughout the region, particularly in the summer months. Cider is produced here and local varieties are available in all supermarkets and restaurants.
During the summer numerous villages and town celebrate the "Pardon" which is predominantly a religious thanksgiving but is always followed by a celebratory meal (with a drink or two!) and Breton dancing.
