There are free concerts in the park every Thursday in the summer.
Our favorite places downtown Fair Oaks are the Sunflower café (vegetarian), Carmelita's (Mexican - great outside patio dining. Live music on Saturday nights), Fair Oaks Coffee House and Deli (great for breakfast, try their outdoor seating under the palm tree, among different plants and roosters walking around) and the brand new Shangri La with bocce court and fire pits.
