Beautiful and peaceful stay

Luca was an incredible host. The property was beautiful and very well maintained and in a great location. He provided good recommendations on places to visit and made the check in and out process easy. The view from the shared patio is amazing and the pool was pretty too. We didn’t realize until too late that there is a washing machine and clothes lines available on the property. Altogether though I would be very happy to stay again!

What an amazing place! Luca was absolutely fantastic to deal with and the place was beyond amazing. The views....wow! The area and people, so friendly. Would recommend 100% and can only hope we get a chance to come back.

Montepulciano delight

Our unit was beautiful and extremely clean. Luca was very attentive to anything we might need. Loved the pastry truck that came every morning at 9 for you to buy croissants for breakfast. Would love to stay here again. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and wineries. Thank you, Luca!

Great setting, great host, great stay

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and this was an ideal place for us. Plenty of room... an incredible view of the vineyard, olive tress, valleys and mountains right from the terrace while sipping on a nice bottle of wine each evening. Luca was a fantastic host and provided us with some great suggestions. It's also a great location for day trips to Pienza, the valley, Cortona, Assissi and more. And if the heat is getting to you, there's a swimming pool to cool off... couldn't be easier.

Three amazing days in Montepulciano

We arrived to La Casa delle Querce after a car ride from Florence. We met with Luca. He told us of the area and gave us a map with suggestions of regions and places to explore. We stayed in the Policiano suite. It was a wonderful! We had space to spend together sharing our day as well as space to spend quietly in our room when needed. The grounds and views are AMAZING! The pool was not open for use, but the pool lounges and chairs were out to enjoy the view and sunshine. Loved listening to all of the birds and frogs(?) at night. Would stay again, Luca is a thoughtful and gracious host!

Perfect Tuscan Destination

This slice of heaven was a dream for my husband and I as we celebrated our 15th anniversary. The views, accomodations, recommendations by Luca (host), vicinity to so many incredible towns and amenities...the list goes on! We were there after the pool closed so while we didn't get to enjoy it in a warmer season, it still added to the beauty of the property. The morning bakery truck was lovely - a great treat to start the day. We enjoyed being able to tour throughout the day, do some wine tasting and have lunch out, and then come back for a nice, small dinner cooked in the ample kitchen. I would absolutely return again and highly recommend this to those wanting a quintessential Tuscan experience. Thank you Luca and your family for sharing your home with us. P.S. We really enjoyed the cats - felt like home!

Spectacular Views and Outside Space

A surprise find just 10 minutes to the town of Montepulciano. On a secluded road, this place had spectacular views of the country side. The outside space was an inviting place to have your breakfast (which could be purchased by the "bakery truck" that pulls up at 9:00am) Don't be late, she's only there a few minutes! or to have a bottle of wine. The pool was closed while we were there because it wasn't pool season, but it also was another great place to enjoy the sun and view. Our room was great. It has a really big living area and kitchen. Big enough to host a family of 10 but only 2 bedrooms. Our bedroom door opened to the pool, but I wish there would have been a screen door to enjoy the outside without having the resident cat prance right in. My biggest concern was the stairs to the bathroom. Four marble stairs lead to both bathrooms. They were super slippery and could be dangerous for young kids or older adults. Hubby has bruise as proof! Our friends complained that their shower was so slippery and on a small incline that they asked to use ours. FYI: I didn't personally check it out. Overall a lovely place and space. Host was awesome too. He gave us plenty of good recommendations.
