About this property

This home is located 3 miles from Ft Walton Beaches and 7 miles to both Destin and Navarre Beach. I do live across the street. I do not monitor your every move as stated in one of my reviews. Also, the cameras mentioned are on the exterior of the home for security purposes only. There are no cameras on the interior of the home, only smoke detectors.

This home is very clean and tidy. It is a great place to spend with your family to enjoy our beaches and what the area has to offer. If you have any questions regarding this property please send me a message.

Wonderful stay

Thank you Elaine for a wonderful stay. We were right at home. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard. We had everything we needed and more in the house. It was great to explore this part of FL and come home to a nice peaceful place to relax. Thanks for the advice on things to see and do. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us.

Christmas in Florida

Elaine has a very beautiful, clean and well stocked house. Her visit rules and directions are easily accessible in a book. She provides plenty of useful information about Mary Esther. The neighborhood is quiet and manicured. Would stay there again

Family

Property was very clean and well stock. We were in town to move a family member. House was very warm and welcoming-nice place to come back to after a hard days work. Would look at renting again if we come down for a pleasure trip!

Just like home

Our host was so accommodating, from special snacks to lots of DVDs and games. TVs in every room, nice furniture and safe neighborhood. Close to restaurants and beaches. Our host was available to answer all our questions. House was very clean and updated.

Perfect

The house was amazing. Brought our dogs and it was just perfect. House was very clean and well appointed. Elaine was the perfect host. Communication was exceptional. Will definitely be back!!

I am a Charter Boat Captain ! I grew up in Biloxi, MS and, after moving to Florida in 1975 I found realized I found paradise and vowed to stay in this area. The beaches and water in Ft Walton/Destin area is spectacular.

I went to school in Biloxi, MS and then went on to get my BA degree from Troy State University. I worked for State Farm Insurance Company as a Claim Rep/Trainer/Reinspector for 32 years. Before that I worked in State Farm agent's offices for 10 years. When I retired in 2012 I didn't want to quit working, I just wanted a different job. Since I was an avid fishing person I decided to get my Captain's License and work as a Charter Captain running my own boat...The Ruthless. (I have to tell you that story when I see you). Since I enjoy people I started having people through a rental agency as a short term rental. When I acquired the house across the street from me I decided to make it a short term rental.

I now spend my days working on providing people a nice place to stay on our beautiful "Emerald Coast".

Why they chose this property

This property is a very nice brick home in a very quiet neighborhood within 7 miles from beaches in both directions. During the summer time the traffic in the Destin area can become gridlocked. Since this home is mid way between Destin and Navarre Beaches you can go to either beach and avoid traffic.
My home is very clean and furnished with everything you need to spend your vacation. There is a washer and dryer on the property so you can keep with your laundry and beach towels. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are no "through streets" with high traffic. The Santa Rosa Mall is just 2 blocks away (walking distance).

What makes this property unique

The home has a split bedroom plan with 2 bedrooms on one end and the master bedroom and bath on the other end. The yard is very private with a 6ft wood privacy fence around the property.

This property is close to the Santa Rosa Mall as well as a short distance from Destin, Ft Walton and Navarre Beach. There are lots of places to dine in the area. There is also an infrared grill available for your use.

During the winter months the rates drop to a very affordable price with a week long stay.
