Donaghmore is a picturesque village in the heart of Tyrone just outside Dungannon. In Donaghmore, you can see the High Cross, one of Ulster's finest Early Christian monuments from the 10th Century. You will also find some great shows in the village theatre - The Bardic. In Dungannon, you will find the Hill of The O’Neill Visitor Centre. Here, visitors can learn about the history of the O’Neills, the Flight of the Earls and the Plantation of Ulster through an interactive exhibition.
There has been a pub here on these premises since the 17th Century so we are pretty old! We are 7th generation. The Lower House is set in the heart of our village – welcoming people from far-flung corners of the world as well as our neighbours. We have a beautiful pub with seven bedrooms in total over the two upper levels of the house and one on the ground floor, each with a dedicated lounge and kitchen area. It provides a slightly different model to the hotel experience but offers a place you can stay in a small village with the pub below and the The Brewer’s House restaurant only metres away.
