You are 2 or 3 minutes from the Canebière then 200m from the old port, where there is a lot of entertainment (boat trips, every morning the fishermen sell their catch, large choice of bars and restaurants) at the old town port you can visit the Mucem on the magnificent site of an old fort, go shopping on the ocean terraces or in the old Docks.
