About this property

Le Vigneron - What more do you need

THE PROPERTY

Le Vigneron has an exceptional terrace for al fresco dining. This terrace is surrounded by the sitting room and kitchen which gives a very easy living area.
There are three bedrooms; on the first floor, the Master bedroom with double bed and second bedroom with 2 single beds (these bedrooms share a bathroom), and on the top floor a dormitory which contains two double beds and its own bathroom.
There is also a 'clic-clac' sofa bed on the ground floor.
The grounds include a large pool, lawns, table tennis and playground overlooking the countryside (shared with the other cottages).

LOCATION
Le Vigneron is in the quiet village of Puyjourdes from where you can visit the charming Market towns of Cajarc, Limogne, Villeneuve, Villefranche all of which are less than 15 kilometres away. Other towns to visit include some of the prettiest villages in France such as St.-Cirq-Lapopie, Figeac, Cahors and Conques.

To work off the good food, there are plenty of road and mountain bike riding paths around the village and in the wider LOT region. Our favourite is the bike and walking track to Carjac. Horse riding, walking, kayaking, swimming, water skiing, caving, climbing, parapenting are all within a easy drive or bike ride. A favourite of the kids (from 7 to 70 !!) is the rope course with various levels of difficulty finishing with a flying fox over the lake. All of these are within 15 kilometres.

Hamish and Emma have dedicated many years to turning what was a ruin into a collection of Gites overlooking the Regional Park. Whilst they both love the houses and the LOT region, work and family life necessitated a return (although Hamish is a Kiwi ..) to the UK. Emma has returned to nursing and Hamish continues with his environmental engineering. Sophie and Isabel are approaching 6 and are mastering the art of everything ...
