It was a really nice relaxing place. I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and I look forward to going again when time permits. I definitely recommend this place.
This is the 3rd time we have taken a vacation to this property just to enjoy the quiet solitude and it delivered again. No complaints about the facility at all. Great place to unwind.
My brother and I enjoyed our stay at your cabin. We found everything to be exactly as listed with VRBO. The remote location makes for a peaceful time away from home.
Our experience was great! Dennis was very informative and timely with questions and information. The cabin was just what we were looking for and a great place to relax! If I come back to the area I will definitely be trying to book here again.
We rented this for a wedding on a farm in Freeport. We wanted to be close by. This was great. The perfect blend of hunting cabin with comfort in mind. The beds were comfortable, everything that was said to be there was, plus spices, extra things like coffee filters. There is a great view from the covered porch and firepit area. Deer and butterflies were great to watch as we drank our coffee. Thank you !!
This is my 2nd time staying here. Its quite be still close enough to do things. Sitting on the porch just talking is my favorite thing about the place. Also watching the wildlife. Would recommend staying here.
The cabin was immaculate and just as pictured. Went on a short fishing trip with my father-in-law. What a delightful place to stay and watch the deer and turkeys from the front porch. Thanks Dennis
Amazing view and so cozy! Off the beaten path, but not too far off. Cabin was clean, extremely well stocked, and beds are super comfortable. Lots of attention to detail....we felt graciously welcomed from the moment we arrived. Owner responded very quickly to our questions. We would definitely stay here again!
Camp has everything you need that they can provide.
Try to be smarter than me. You're in the middle of very little access to easy convenience. Pack your food to cook!
I and my family's overall stay/booking was a great and very memorable experience. We all loved the location/seclusion of the cabin. It was great not having to listen to any of the normal noise pollution that is always around were we live. Just wish we could have brought about half the serenity home with us. We'll stay again if it would only be to enjoy the piece and quite of nature. Thumbs up to this booking stay in the heart of Ohio's large lake region.
The cabin is great. The kitchen has every utensil you will ever need. The washer and dryer are high end. The entire place is clean and very accessible. Our favorite area by far is the huge outside porch and the new firepit, it really makes the visit special. You and sit outside and enjoy the countryside rain or shine and it's always great to have a fire to sit next to at nightl.
The cabin was not clean enough. the bed sheets were smiling bad. the bed sheets must be white color so that guest assure about their cleanness. The couches in the living-room were dirty, in the living-room under the coffee table a huge chunk of pits hair was visible. The property is located in a very nice place and is very calm and good view. Just cleaning is concerned.
Most of the pots and pans were filthy. The toaster oven didnt work. Im sorry to leave this review, but this is what you get. Also good thing i had a 4x4 or we would have never gotten out of the unplowed driveway.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Every detail was perfect.
The kitchen was fully stocked and spacious with anything and everything you could need to cook your meals. We made breakfast, lunch, and dinner all four days of our stay and the kitchen was big enough for the four of us to do prep and cook together. Loved it!
The living room had two huge reclining couches and a big TV for when we wanted to be inside and relax before bed.
The bathroom/laundry room was huge and the closet in there was stocked with fluffy towels and anything you would need that you may have forgotten at home.
Each bedroom had a ceiling fan and a super comfy bed. Plenty of blankets and pillows.
Outside we grilled steaks on the gas grill, and pizza pie irons in the fire. The fire pit was wonderful, and the outdoor furniture was very comfortable. We brought a card table and played Euchre all day, everyday.
Life is hectic and demanding. Sometimes you just need to get away. I can't remember the last time I had home cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 4 days in a row. It was nice to not have anything to do but relax and enjoy the beautiful view and each others company.
So if you are looking to get away and relax, this is the perfect place to do just that. The host Dennis was awesome. He checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and to text him with any questions. We truly appreciated his communication.
Thank you, Dennis!
Dennis was very accommodating. He provided us with tons of great information about the area. The wildlife on the property was amazing and the patio was huge and amazing. Very clean and surprisingly, cell service was still great. Highly recommend this cabin. Also recommend a visit to the wooden wheel restaurant in Quaker City not too far away. Amazing breakfast!!! Thanks Dennis!!
Upon our arrival, this cabin was just as described. I personally loved this place because it was exactly what we were looking for- it was quiet and secluded.
The overall condition of the cabin was clean, well stocked with everything from dish washer tabs to toilet paper and laundry soap. There was even condiments in the fridge.
There were a couple of things that I didn't like but it didn't affect weather we stayed or not...the sliding glass door had been broken by previous renters and did not lock and the jacuzzi tub didn't work. Other than that the cabin was perfect! So much so that we have decided to rent there again on our 1 year anniversary!
The owner, Dennis was in contact with us before and during our stay just to make sure everything was ok with our stay...which was much appreciated also .
