Amazing house with stunning pool.

This house has 6 bedrooms which do not interconnect at all, the bedrooms are accessed via a central courtyard. 2 of the bedrooms are in a separate building which is located in the garden next door and is a 2 minute walk from the bigger house. I mention this because this was not clear in the house information. 2 bedrooms have sofabeds suitable for children. The bedrooms are all stunning, super comfy, cool in temperature and have ensuite bathrooms though the ceilings creak very loudly throughout the night! The kitchen is well equipped and was great for our family of 8. The pool was well used by us and is a great asset to the house. The outdoor dpaces are great for sitting out and eating. The location is very quiet and it felt very safe. Martano is a nice small town with good facilities. Otranto is well worth the 30 minute drive, park at Omar's safe car park, stunning little town.

Objekt toll, Betreuung weniger

Das Haus ist einfach toll, wie auf den Bildern. Die Betreuung durch Angelica war mangelhaft: dass wir das versprochene Olivenöl nicht bekommen haben- na gut. Aber dass ihr Freund einfach ohne Anmeldung ins Objekt gekommen ist, um den Pool zu warten, geht gar nicht. wir lagen leicht bekleidet am Pool, plötzlich stand er da! Das das warme Wasser nur tröpfchenweise lief, wurde von uns beanstandet, die wurde aber negiert. Es wurde uns eine Bootstour angeboten, wir hätten uns sehr darauf gefreut. Plötzlich wurde gesagt, dass die Saison schon vorbei sei und dies nicht mehr möglich ist. Dies war alles sehr unerfreulich, aber im Haus selber haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

A magnificent place

This is an absolutely gorgeous property, with all necessary amenities. We did have trouble with the pool and the dryer and both were quickly addressed. An issue is that very few people speak English, and when they do it is very rudimentary at best, so communication was difficult. The area is out of the way and quite far from many of the towns we wanted to visit, so we stayed overnight in Matera and Alberrobello. There are dogs that barked through the night, so in are they are still doing that bring earplugs.
