We love this cabin, second time here! It’s very homey with lots of comforting touches. Plenty of sleeping space, comfortable beds, lots of blankets and pillows. Kitchen is well stocked. They were very accommodating to plow the driveway for us as we came during the snow/ice. The location is great for when roads are bad - second time we stayed here during bad weather - because it’s right off 15 near exit 40 mountain parkway. Accessible to 715 and hiking trails as well as Slade and Campto . We will be back!

We had a great time at the house. The house has everything you need to make it a nice stay and is 15 minutes away from most activities & restaurants. Would be nice to have a dedicated place to wash our dogs outside, especially after a muddy hike!

While you're out that way, check out the Red River Gorge Scenic Byway as well! Natural Bridge State Resort Park features the Natural Bridge, a million-years-old sandstone arch, which is accessible by hiking up and down the mountain or by taking a slow, easy ride on the sky lift. For water activities, like fishing, kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddle boarding, make your way to nearby Mill Creek Lake. Stop by Gorge Underground to go kayaking through a 100-year-old limestone cave, or soar above the trees with Red River Gorge Zipline. And if you’re looking for even more thrills, visit Bluegrass Climbing School for world-famous rock climbing and rappelling! Both offer lessons and guided climbs. Great restaurants are also nearby!
