About this property

Our charming 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage is affectionately known as "Buttonhouse". It is Oceanside, 2 short blocks to lifeguarded beach, and walking distance to restaurants!
We are only available through VRBO or through personal friends (no craigslist, so beware if our post is seen elsewhere).
Our newer home is just 4 steps up to the front door, so comfortable for the young and old alike! (yet no sandy damage!) The large great room with cathedral ceiling, and gas fireplace is open to the kitchen with island. Also in the great room is a dining area that seats 6. Front of home has a wall of windows with charming porch overlooking the Spray Beach Chapel (fun wedding season views!)
The 3 bedrooms include a master bedroom with king bed, and full private bath (shower only). The second guest room has a queen poster bed, and third guest room has a twin bed with pull out, pop up trundle. (Can be put side by side to serve as a "king") There is a second bathroom (shower over tub) in the central hallway to serve the other two bedrooms.The washer/ dryer is in a separate closet in hall. The side yard, holds the outside shower, a shed for bicycle storage, a feet washing station, Outside dining table, chairs and benches, and weber gas grill. The front yard includes a circular patio with adirondack chairs...perfect for that late afternoon "happy hour". The entire yard is fenced adding an extra element of privacy, and safety for young children.
Please note that, like much of LBI, high season requires a Saturday to Saturday stay (7 nights).

LBI is especially beautiful in the off season. Our home has central heat, and a gas fireplace (super warm and cozy). Buttonhouse is open to shorter stays in the off season...perfect for quick romantic getaways or "girls weekends". Please call if you have any questions.

Great home and location

We thoroughly enjoyed this rental. The house is centrally located and well maintained. We appreciated Susan’s attentiveness during a tropical storm during our stay, she was readily available to answer all of our questions. The main street, Long Beach Blvd, does flood during storms but the house and street near the property was dry and easily accessible. The owner even dropped off a welcome bottle of wine!!! Great weekend with friends!

Spacious, clean with everything you need

The button house was comfortable for my spouse and two toddlers. The three bedrooms were perfect with plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed on the trip. I liked that there weren’t a bunch of stairs to go up and down like many of the other rentals in the area. We spent a lot time out front enjoying the umbrella and chairs.
