Loved the property. Very spacious and had everything you could need. We didnt have the weather to enjoy the garden but this did not diminish the pleasure of our stay
Thank you
We had a wonderful week here and the house was a great place for us to have family over as we have many relatives from Ireland we hadn’t seen in years. The kitchen, living room and outdoor area are all spacious, as are the bedrooms. Lots of great local dining options and things to do in the welcome book. We loved the local restaurants!
The house was actually bigger than I thought it would be inside. The kitchen is huge and has such an amazing view in the morning with all of the windows. The lighting is amazing in this house. Putting mirrors at each one of the windows...brilliant! I would stay in this house again if I ever go back. Kate was very responsive and so polite. Thank you for everything!
The inside of the house if absolutely spotless altho outside would to with a powerhouse as it's really slippy out the back. The property states there is a hot tub but there wasn't any and it was our only reason really to rent the property

Booked well in advance, good opportunity to cancel if we needed. Loved the online description , as the house turned out to be every bit as beautiful when we all arrived.
Lovely large house, spacious and plenty of room for all 8 of us to be together comfortably.. Should we ever have reason to travel to this beautiful part of the country again, this is where we will stay🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
We have just returned from an enjoyable holiday in Northern Ireland. The property is spacious, modern, and clean and we enjoyed using the outside fire area.

5 Stars! This is a beautiful House. Very clean, plus lovely and warm. It is well stocked with everything you will need and more! Kate could not have been anymore helpful, communication, contactless check in and out were all seamless. The floor to ceiling window in the massive kitchen really makes it as you can stare out at the country view which is so relaxing. 4 very comfortable double bedrooms were spacious and made my boys feel very spoiled! Although due to weather we didn’t get to use it, the outside area looks amazing with the pizza oven, huge dining table and outdoor fireplace. We had very cozy evenings by the open fire with drinks, poker and board games. The 4 days went in so fast! It was great to get away for my sons 8th birthday, we all had a ball and would love to come back!

About the host
Hosted by Kate O
I was born and raised in the local community where generations of my fathers family have lived and worked over many centuries.
After my secondary education I moved to Liverpool to study and it's here that I started my career. I have now lived there for around 20+ years but have continued to travel back to Northern Ireland regularly.
I've always wanted to return and build a home for myself among this beautiful landscape and some years ago I had the opportunity to do so.
I'd love to welcome you into my home, the area of Gortindarragh has always had a special place in our family's heart with its quiet and picturesque setting and it's links to our heritage.
Why they chose this property
The house has a quiet and calm setting making it the perfect getaway if you just want to kick back and relax. There are two outside entertaining areas one which is situated in front of the outside fireplace.
The house is located 10 minutes from the motorway network and centrally located in Northern Ireland which makes it idea to cover lots of areas on day trips.
Locals shop and bar is a 20 minutes walk or a 3 minute drive.
What makes this property unique
The house is very large which gives all guests space to spread out. It's been extremely well fitted for long family breaks. Finished with luxurious bedding and lots of kitchen equipment it's extremely comfortable.
