About this property

We have a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom, multi-level townhome in the heart of downtown San Jose that is yours to rent!

Right in between Japantown and San Pedro Market, our place boasts beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings, big windows with tons of natural light, ample space, central air-conditioning (with NEST), and walking distance to just about everything you could want access to in the area.

Access to tons of toys for 4-7 year old (and if you're child is a girl, she'll be more elated!) and some for adults as well.

We have a front patio overlooking a children's park with a lovely field and public pool (open summer months for 10 years and younger).
We have two adult bikes, a child's bike, scooter, etc, for you to access as well.
We are happy to chat with you via Facetime/Skype to assist with your needs.

Clean and very nice decor

Tyler and Cora were great hosts and their daughter's room was a perfect 3rd room for our 11-month old son. They were very responsive to communicate and we are very thankful to have a place to call home for 38 nights while we closed on our house. Very close by to commercial center on Coleman Ave., Guadalupe Trail (where I enjoyed biking and exercising with Tyler's bike), and close to work (going to miss the 8-min daily commute). You'll enjoy your stay here!

I was born in Brookline, MA, and lived for most of my adult years in NYC before moving out west with my husband and (at the time) one year old in 2013. We were living in Mountain View for the first 3 years, and were close to both my sisters and their families, who also moved out here. My husband and I both work in local high schools (I am a school counselor, he is a teacher) and we take great pride in our home and our belongings. Our daughter, now nearly six years old, is the best thing we ever did and is the best part of both of us.

Why they chose this property

We began searching for a new home three years ago. We looked all over the Bay Area, never quite finding a space that had the right balance of bright light, ample space, close enough to work/family to make sense of the commute, access to urban life in walking distance, but surrounded by quaint and quiet neighborhoods. When we came to open house of what is now our home, I knew right away we needed to put aa bid on it. It had all the elements of what we were looking for (minus a garden, but the park on our street makes up for it). We are very happy here, and I think you'll feel the same way.

What makes this property unique

Walking distance to everything in downtown San Jose (Japantown, San Pedro Market, Cesar Chavez, SAP, Civic Center), which usually hosts a ton of street festivals and celebrations throughout the summer. A park on our street, that boasts a children's play area, basketball courts, large field for sporting activities (frisbee, volleyball, soccer), outdoor grills, and a shallow end children's pool open exclusively during the summer months. We are also in walking distance to an awesome children's inclusivity park, designed to be accessible for all children, and a shopping center (Target, Marshalls, World Market, Trader Joes, Chase, Starbucks, etc). We also have a light rail that stops right in front of our house and takes you anywhere in San Jose and up to (if not past) Mountain View.
